I'm getting 2009 draft vibes from this draft

The 09 draft was from a completely different staff and they drafted for special teams. This is not a special teams draft.

It's just not a deep draft, imo. You just do your best to come out of it with something. Think they got that in the 1st with Mazi, and the rest of this is meh. It's more about the draft class than it is something damning about Cowboys HQ.

I don't think Overshown beats out LVE or Clark and we play almost exclusively 4-2-5 outside of short yardage. I figure he will rotate between LB and the big nickel spots with the incumbents starting.

I used to get caught up in the draft rankings every year but I now see holding to them after the first 50 picks or so as asinine. I now give the Cowboys the benefit of the doubt when it comes to the draft.

It's not looking good..I was excited with the Mazi pick, but we've just picked up two backup/role players in rounds 2 and 3. I mean, it's a weak draft and all, but we're out here looking for niche guys again. I fail to see how the overall team has improved

Agree and hate drafting so late each round, it sucks. If not making the SB, it hurts you. Help the egirls having who was that the saints pick and they sucked this year to get a top 10 pick. Can we make a trade and get someone’s first round pick.
