He's not Peter Pan. Age catches up with everyone. Some of his injuries, even when 'healed' are the type that diminish skills e.g. bad back.

His core is in much better shape now than in 2014. If anything he should be better.

And that's you won't see him play. JG isn't going to let that happen. If he came in against Philly and threw 3-4 TD'S the media storm going into the playoffs would be huge. It could screw it all up!
So Sanchez will play? I don't see why you would play him more than a whole game in these next 2.

I would love to see Romo play and torch both teams myself. But JG has to think about getting Dak more work, and also not create a controversy that is unneeded going into the playoffs. If Romo were to light up both teams, we win by 20 then what is the media going to do, and us fans?? Just play Dak and if anything let Romo start 2nd halfs or something.

There would be no drop off in the offense if Romo played. In fact the production would increase as Romo is the superior QB.
Look what a 4th round rookie is doing running this offense. Just imagine if a franchise QB like Romo could do.

The 4th round rookie is better than Romo. He's a Pro Bowler this year, has led the team to five 4th-quarter comebacks, has set numerous rookie QB records, and played a huge part in the team securing the #1 seed with two games remaining. Troy Aikman is on record saying Dak is the man and should definitely be the starter over Romo. He certainly knows better what it takes to be a successful Cowboys QB than we do, so his opinion is meaningful. The coaches also think Dak is better. No disrespect to Romo, but Dak is the best QB for this team.

I don't know how Dak made the pro bowl since some think he's trash.

lol. Prescott will win more playoff games, in his rookie year, than ole Tony boy did in 12 yrs. This is a new era. Tony will never start another game in Dallas andmwill be released June 1st.

Do you honestly belive the coaches think Dak is a better QB? In all seriousness?

"agree"......Lets see what Romo's legs can do running a bootleg or running for a first down on 3rd and 11...........o_O
Yeah, because that makes up so much of Linehan's offense.
Im not one saying he should take over for Dak, but come on.
There are other ways to convert 3rd and 11

Daks in a great position and Im happy for him.
Good for him

Dallas has won their last two playoff home games.
Dak is our QB, but with home field, I suspect they would win the home games this year too....just as they would (and have) with Romo.

Its really a moot point.
Dak is the QB for the Cowboys and I'm pulling for him:flagwave:

You are right, it doesn't make up much of Linehan's offense, but with Dak in there it is an option and we've used it just enough that defenses have to prepare for it. I guarantee with Romo in there that defenses know it will never be used. Just like the QB sneak at the goal line. It never gets called with Romo in there. and why is that?

Yes, I do. Coaches go with the QB who gives them the best chance to win. This year's results speak for themselves. Now we just have to see if that winning continues in the playoffs, since that is something they've struggled with for 20 years.
