I personally am sort of glad they are approaching FA differently we are getting younger and building through the draft that is the right way to do it ! Stephan Jones i believe has finally reigned in Jerry and his overpaying for players. I would have liked for them to get vernon but not at the price the giants paid but thats me, we have alot of pieces on the oline to get under contract soon.

I'm all for building through the draft but you can't tell me our superbowl chances don't dramatically increase with 2 or 3 defensive players that effect the other teams passing game.

I am not saying do not use FA but we cannot overpay or get into bidding wars most times it doesn't work out sometimes it does but more often it doesn't. We cannot pay everyone it wasn't to many years ago we were in salary cap hell we just got out of it, i vote for stay out for awhile lol

Our examples of FA not working used to be the Commanders.

Well there are examples now of being able to win a Super Bowl with paying players in FA.

We can't get it right on defense right now in the draft. Almost no difference makers on that side of the ball right now besides Lee and even he isn't up to par.

We need some impact players and I wish they would make a move before Romo's career is over.

I hear you for sure i do ! I honestly believe Romo deserves a ring and a good defense. But their were a lot of problems during most of his career with the Cap, horrible contracts, the punishment us and washington were handed years ago for cap violations. We were an Old, salary cap strapped team years ago, that was not an easy situation to get out of and tuff decisions needed to be made. They started in the trenches on the offensive side of the ball and are now starting in the trenches on the other side. It has been a long road but if they do the right thing next year in the draft we will be a young, hungry aggressive team with lots of talent thats all im saying

yes it worked out for the broncos and it looks to be working out so far for the giants. But their are plenty of examples of it not working out.

If the passes are designed for yac, thsee can be great. This is the Pats high powered offense. Brady throws a higher percentage of passes less than 8 yards from the los in the air than any other QB. Only 2 in the last super bowl they won. So it's not buddy that dink and dunk doesn't work. It doesn't work if your receivers are standing still or running a comeback.

Garrett's offenses have almost always struggled in the redzone, going back to when he was OC. We can't keep settling for FG's. They need to be more creative in the redzone.

I'm straight up done with Marinelli. The guy has had one good season, and even then our defense was average, but had a ton of turnovers.

We still don't put him in catch and run situations. Just like TO.

I'm glad they finally pulled their heads out of their ying yang and decided we need to target him more but they need to get Dez in catch and run situations.

Take advantage of those 8 and 9 man front's on first down by just simply running a slant route against man coverage. 1 broken tackle and its a touchdown.

2nd down.. Why does he have to clear out for Witten and Beasley? Let the guy drag across the middle and catch it and put his foot on the gas. DB's are terrified of this players RAC ability .

I think they did yesterday, they obviously schemed to get Dez open yesterday, it was good to see them actually using the bunch formation with the WR;s and getting Dez moving across the field instead of only vertical.

Hardy can rush the passer, and the fact that no one in the NFL signed him should be a huge warning sign. The DV charge isn't whats caused it I'd bet.

That is true but once Lawerence and Gregory was confirm to be out. I would have gave him a call. I would have waiting until mid camp to let him see no one wanted him. Have a sit down and tell him they can't have that mess this year. Offer him a minimal deal and as soon as he act up cut him. But then again do you really think Hardy was an issue? When he played in Carolina we didn't see this mess. I kinda think there may be something internal that's an issue. Maybe the culture in Dallas or something.

He's being blackballed by the league..

I don't remember the league requesting to speak with Hardy's crack-head girlfriend.. Before they were filing motions to unseal evidence, now all of the sudden they are satisfied with evidence not being given to them..
