Only the usual HOMER fans are excited as best case scenario we are a wildcard team and one and done by the div round.

The bigger issue to me is how much have our opponents improved in offseason and draft ?

Are there teams from last year who may have improved more?

Great question.

To me, in the NFC:
Philly has taken a few steps back.
San Fran is as formidable as last year but with even bigger question marks at QB.
Green Bay is worse on paper.
The Vikings did little to improve their Defense on the field
Tampa is worse
New York is the same.
Ram, Zona, Seattle, etc all seem to be floundering.

To me, we improved some weaknesses and have opened some questions on coaching. We are right there.
