random Cs said:I said it gives a ballpark. I don't know what "stop rate" or "succesful deep pass defense" really means. For all I know, it gives credit to a safety for a poorly thrown deep pass. Not to mention how many of those passes were Patrick Ramsey throwing to Rod Gardner, or McNabb going to deep to whatever scrub receiver playing #1 for Philly.
I don't think there's any argument that Roy and Polamalu don't play on the same level. Stats don't paint the picture and Polamalu has such free reign in that defensive scheme, he's around every play
redskins1 said:my take on sean and roy,roy is known for big hits and so is sean..roy's big hits come against players in awkward position and cant protect themselves..sean on the other hand has more hits face to face with the ball carriers and knocks the hell out of them...and there is a reason roy makes alot of tackles with the horse collar move,he takes bad angles and ends up chasing..just my take!!!
redskins1 said:bigDfan5...roy took 2 bad angles in week 2 last year on monday night football...2 in one game..im positive you can find 8 more with 14 games left to pick from...

superpunk said:Flat out stupid, uninformed statement. The average Commanders fan's lack of knowledge about what ACTUALLY happened there is ridiculous, considering the amount of misguided smack they run about it. Educate thyself.
superpunk said:What do you think we see on the lame-*** attempts to make Roy seem like a dirty player?
See the point?
apickmans said:Heh so you agree it was a lame *** attempt then?
BigDFan5 said:You are ducking the question you were asked apick
apickmans said:Not really. I agree with SP. I never said RW was dirty to begin with.

Yakuza Rich said:Remember, most Commanders fans believe that your best CB should follow the opposing #1 WR for the entire game. That's despite the fact that no NFL team does this...the fact that the highest amount done by any cornerback in the NFL in 2005 was only at 64% (Dre Bly)....and that Shawn Springs only covered the opposing #1 WR's 34% of the time (second lowest % in the NFL).
Can you educate those properly who ride the Football short bus?
