Agreed…and just think how much more Dak’s mobility will be hampered after this hamstring injury.
I think he is pretty much done.

He will be are starter next season but it isn't going to be pretty.

He isn't a great pocket passer to begin with and now he will be even less mobile.

The next 4 seasons are going to be worse than this one was!

So you're saying Dak is the only quarterback in history who has selective stats? There's no other quarterbacks in the top 10 who have stats vs those same teams Dak played against?

What marquee talent did Dak have around him last year when he became an All-Pro?

Oh yeah, since you think Rush is better than Dak, why haven't 31 other coaches and GMs see what you claim to observe? Do you believe you know more about evaluating NFL quarterback talent than those professionals I've listed?
I'm saying Dak is an imposter.
He makes his reputation off of beating weak teams that the rest of the Cowboys are already dominating.
But when it's his turn to be the reason the Cowboys win because they are in a tough game, he disappears until the game is already lost. Then he gets stats based on throwing g against a defense that is coasting because they know the game is already decided.
I'm saying loud and clear that Dak is only along for the ride, and he hurts the Cowboys because when they depend on him he doesn't produce. Dak is not a NFL caliber quarterback and he would already be out of the league if he played anywhere else.
Is that plain enough for you?

By the way: 31 other teams didn't offer Lamar Jackson a contract, either. You know, the REAL MVP from last season?

Rush is what he is. But the biggest difference between rush and dak is their paycheck.

I agree with the OP. However, Dak sails and dirts just as many balls per game, so how should we feel about Dak now? Plus his legs are now truly gone, and I just saw some games where Dak didn’t use his legs and yikes

If Dak isn't good enough to overcome a less talented roster, then he should have never been given that contract.
This is a hell of lot more than a less talented roster. While your at it. No other player should get a contract since they can't overcome a less talented roster. Dak is not playing. Are they overcoming this less talented roster??

Dak had a worse OL ? He had a healthy Guyton whose better than Edoga and Zach Martin who even at less than 100% is better than Bass. I don't care about QB stats, I care about wins per dollar. Cooper is a much better deal.
wins per dollar? how far up the you know what did you reach to pull out that one!!!

if that's a stat you use, then all starting QBs should be benched and most backup QBs should be starting!!!

geez, this place is going to hell and a hand basket...

No argument here. I’ve never been a Dak “hater”, but I cannot understand why they lashed themselves to him beyond this year. At least not the day before the season starts.

Dak has had marquee talent around him and he can still only beat cellar dwellers.
He has hurt the Cowboys, not helped.
Those great stats came against bottom feeders or loose defenses in games he had already choked away.
They mean as much as the championships he has won- oops!
hmmmmm this is the stats of some of the QBs currently

Rodgers: 42-44
Mahommes: 17-11
Stafford: 12-72
Wilson: 36-32
Herbert: 6-10
Allen: 12-15
Burrow: 8-10
Jackson: 13-9
Watson: 7-19
Dak: 18-24

so outside of mahomes, and wilson everyone has a losing record...interesting.

lets here you wheels spin....get the hamster in your brain to start running again

Joe Burrow only put up 27.
It was 20-20 until the muffled punt.
Your argument has more holes than a sponge.
yet 27 is on the score board....you call out the muffled punt, but gave credit to Rush for 2 TDs scored by special teams against commanders.

man, that's some fast goal post moving......

you and I can agree on this all we want. but NFL salaries really has nothing to do with most of that...its the market. supply and demand as its understood by GMs and owners. that's why 15 players make 40M or more. you want to tell me they don't need help? just in the past year or so we have 10 that make 50M or more and 5 that are above 55M (Not including Mahomes).....

the market is what it is. if it was based on play and results, then the NFL wouldn't have but 20 players in it at most.

he is not an NFL calibur QB, yet he ius 76-46 and 18-24 against teams with a winning record.

how is that not an NFL calibur QB....and I posted the win/loss record against teams with a winning record and the list is quite surprising. so does that mean none of those QBs are then NFL calibur QBs.

you are one of the aboslute most clueless people about football I have ever encountered anywhere.

you just want attention....you seem so deprived. first it was you Garrett crusade. then you totally disappeared after Garrett....and now you are on a Dak crusade....

get a life.....if the only thing waking you up in the morning is to bash dak. I feel extremley sorry for you.

and you will disappear once again, when dak leaves.... until your find your next crusade.

The offense hasn't looked good with either QB. Anyone who watches the game knows this. If you think there is a 60 million dollar difference between the 2 players there is no point in discussing anything further.

Cooper Rush can only win games if every single thing around him goes perfect, mainly the defense giving up a very small amount of points. He has a noodle arm. He's a career backup for a reason.

Some of us already knew about Cooper "2112" Rush. He's a capable backup that will continue to have a good career but he's not starter material and he never will be. His inability to move in the pocket is crippling. But Jerry has historically been very cheap on who the backup QB is so you get what you pay for.

Rush should be listening to "YYZ" more in pregame warmups. The way he's playing you'd think he's been listening to that hack George Strait, who has been vocal over the years about what Jerry has done to this franchise.
Agreed. Cooper is just a "working man" who was thrust into the "limelight."
