well, it was close enough to VR where players could hop over there after practices

Haley crashed his bike into Randy's Valley Ranch Bar drunk, back in the '90s, and shoved Randy when Randy put his arm around him to make Haley feel comfortable, trying to get him to have someone drive him home

Randy cold-cocked him

Chad Hennings beat the crap out of Haley for talking smack in '92 or '93

anytime someone beats the crap out of a hulky psycho means you don't mess with them

There was a story that Hennings also threw someone through a block wall or broke the wall himself.

We had a Q&A with him on the board once and I asked about it but he said he could not talk about it.

it was probably Haley

""Hennings, you're so ****ing stupid", Haley barked, pointing towards a tape of a recent practice. "Look how dumb you are out there doing--"

Henning's spun around, grabbed Haley's neck, and rammed his head through a window"

I admit, that one bothers me. How do you loose a game?

Maybe the team assistants accidentally ordered 54 pairs of Nate Newton's jockstrap?

There was a punter that used to keep a bag of snicker bars hidden in his shoe on the sidelines. John Madden said in his day that they'd be gone after the first time he went out to punt. :laugh1:

Bingo... I ate there several times before it closed. We saw Hennings there after a Cowboy/Commanders game. That dude was HUGE! There was another steakhouse on the same street that had some mean steaks. Seems like there was a huge slide from the second level to the floor level where there was a HUGE dance floor. They served some good pinto beans as appetizers.

We stayed in a Hampton Inn not far from there.

Which bring me to my next question and a possibly sensitive one at that. Would you rather be a so called "metal-midget" or an actual midget?

I'm guessing the answer to that question would depend on the height of the one replying.

I've seen it a billion times on this site, just curious.

You'll rue the day you asked that question, the sort of rueage a man carries with him for the rest of his life... your rueability factor just went through the roof...

It will be ruesome to behold...

On the off chance you're serious, "rue the day" means "the time will come when you seriously regret what you've just done"... for example, I might come to rue the day I took you seriously in this thread...
