You two guys are the only ones that have never waivered on your belief in wade and his ability. Kudos for that.

I feel so good for the guy. I wanted that win last night for wade and romo so bad.

It was simply an incredible feeling to be standing in the stadium last night when romo took the knee and wade and romo had just won a playoff game against the franchise that gets treated like it does no wrong.

after all the two have been through and all that has happened I hope those two had a moment in the locker room and just really felt the moment.

I just hope we dont lose garrett. I really think garrett is outsanding and hearing laufenberg compare him to a young bill walsh confirmed that to me.

What an absolutely fantastic 4 weeks. We embarrassed the skins in their own building and in the process eliminated the giants then destroyed the eagles two weeks in a row. Just fantastic.

I have stood by Wade side from the get go. I think if you hire a HC you give him the opportunity to do the job. He has been our HC for 3 season now and in that time he has brought 2 NFC East Championships out of 3 season and has now gotten us over the 13 year playoff hump most of that he had nothing to do with yet seem to take allot of blame for.

Players believe in Wade to me that is the most important thing. I don't care about the sideline appearance to me that is fluff for the fans who get off seeing a coach go crazy on the sideline. Wade is who he is and that is not going to change but those players have bought into Wade and play their butts off for him that is all that matters.

Wade has taken the heat for players instead of throwing them under the bus, when ever critic out there said Dallas could not do something they have rallied around each other and proven the critics wrong.

Wade in my view is a very good winning coach and I’m glad he is the coach of my favorite team and hope he continues being the Coach of the Cowboys

My opinion of Wade hasn't changed.

I like him as a person and think he's a great defensive coordinator. He has the defense playing at a very high level right now.

But I still believe he isn't cut out to manage an entire football team. I honestly believe Jerry is doing a lot of that for him.

Wade is running the defense, Garrett is running the offense, and Jerry is overseeing the entire operation. Plus, some key players (Romo and Brooking in particular) have provided great leadership this year.

I loved Jerry's quote after the game. This isn't about winning one playoff game. Their goals are higher than that. Let's win the next one, then another, then another. That's the way you have to think.

I always loved wade.

I even was laughed at for my man love of wade.

I would let him hold me all night long just so I could feel him breathing next to me.

I honestly believe some people will make their minds up about something and never be able to look at it objectively again.

Uhhh, too much info right there....:laugh2: not that there's anything wrong with that....

I now do believe in Wade, but felt he was supposed to concentrate and run the defense from day one, not a couple years later. That was why he got the HC job over Norv.

And I believe that we're a fickled bunch, capable of changing our minds almost as quickly as public opinion changes theirs towards elected officials, terrorism & global warming.

Anything to lessen the credit Wade deserves. Wade Phillips plain and simple is teh HC of the Cowboys he is not the co HC or just the DC he is the HC Jerry has said that himself. Is Jerry involved? Do bears do it in the woods? Yes but Wade is the Head Coach of the Cowboys and as HC he has helped to get this team over the hump someplace they have not seen in years be it under Gailey, Campo or Parcells. Wade has done it and you bet he deserves allot of the credit. Wade himself has not acted as if this is last game of the season he and his staff will start getting ready for Minn today

So, Jerry is actually being a GM and apparently doing a pretty good job of it. Who would have thought?

I dont understand why people are so obsessed with giving Wade credit.

He won a playoff game, big deal.

Come back to Dallas with the trophy, and I will give Wade all the thanks and credit he earned. Right now, he is just doing his job.

Beacuse he has helped take this team to a place where they have not been in a long time. Yes I want more as do the Cowboys but given the fact Wade has been hammered the way he has and all the talk of what this team and Wade can't do sorry yes he deserves a bit of credit today. It is funny the critics of Wade have no problem blasting him at every turn not giving him the oppertunity yet seem not to be able to figure out why anyone would want to give him credit today.

No kidding.

I think he had to be talked into releasing Owens, and he obviously overpaid for Roy Williams last year, but he's on a pretty good role during the past few months.

Wade Phillips is the first guy in 13 years to get this team playing as a team and put it together in the playoffs. He is not the Greatest Head Coach in NFL history, he probably won't make the Hall of Fame as a Head Coach, he doesn't have the stellar post season record of Jimmy Johnson, nor will he ever win a gold in the 100M dash. And of all those things, I think he could give two ****s about your opinion on any one of them.

Johnson Couldn't put up with it, Switzer couldn't maintain it, Gailey was Gailey, Campo by no means was an NFL head coach, Parcells couldn't do it, and quit. You wan't a Shannahan or Cowher as a head coach? Go root for the Skins and Bills cause there ain't no room on my wagon for ignorance.

Wade Phillips is the right guy, with the right attitude, at the right time to get this team playing as a "Playoff" caliber team and that hasn't happened in 13 friggin years. He has the support of his staff and players, and his boss respects his ability and resume.

He is the head coach of the team I have followed for over thirty years, and he has my support until he doesn't. He put the wheels back on the ol' broke down Cadillac, now were takin it Minnesota for a new paint job.

For God, America, Family, Cowboys and Cupcakes.

I don't care who we played... This team finally won a play-off game and ended the December melt-down...

Wade accomplished something that is a milestone for this team, considering our trend...

And as a side note, Wade has never really gotten a fair-shake as a head coach... He's taken over teams as interim coaches, and he has normally fallen into a head coaching position by accident. He has never had a chance to implement his philosophy as a whole, with the exception of Dallas...

Wade does deserve credit this year. I'm happy for him personally because he's always been a good guy, but just hadn't been able to get it done in the postseason. I think his laid back, golly-gee style has played a part in that.

But this year he is getting it done and has the defense playing better than I've seen it in a decade. Hopefully they can keep it up and go much further..

I'm not sorry, he is a good DC, bad HC and is getting lucky. I hope the luck lasts but this is a real case where Jerry's "500 guys could have coached this team" is dead on.

lol....

yea 500 coaches if they had Wade as defensive coordinator.

this defense is dominating, the offense doesnt panic or press... that is all wade.
