I too predicted a loss, but I was not "hoping" for a loss. Its kinda like the Saints game last year, almost nobody on this board thought we would win, doesnt mean we were all hoping for a loss.

That's just it if your a FAN...(not saying your not) then why in the world would you think your teams gunna lose??? That's like rule #1 if you ask me. You alwys think their gunna win no matter what that's what being a fan is all about.

Based on how the team played in the first two games, I dont think it was that much of a stretch to think going on the road and playing in a stadium that the team has never won at and playing an undefeated team would be a tough job.


What being a fan means is rooting for the team no matter what. You are telling me that you never expect a loss?? You dont look at the schedule and count probable wins and losses??

You think Dallas was going undefeated this year?? That is what you are saying here, that being a fan means you think they are going to win no matter what. So you actually thought Dallas was going undefeated this year??

Sorry, but I dont agree with your definition of being a fan. Thinking the team is going to go undefeated sounds like a homer to me, not a realistic evaluation of the team.

So... if we dig up the season prediction thread, I suspect we'll find you stating we will go 16-0 and win the Super Bowl, right? After all, "real" fans don't predict losses.

What is interesting then.... is that there are no real fans on this board apparently, except you. Because I don't recall anyone predicting 16-0.

idk, I agree with Sickwitit. Even though I didn't predict 16-0, that's being realistic, every week, I still believe the Cowboys CAN win. Not that they will, or should, or whatnot, but that they can, so of course, in a predictions thread, I'll have the cowboys scoring more points than the opponent.

Like I said before, even if we are 0-15, and going up against a very good SB contending team, I'll still have the belief that the Cowboys can pull off the win.

Game one against Commanders my thoughts = oh well win this one new QB, new coach, etc....we didn't well damn....Game 2 the bears are teams is better than theirs across the board we SHOULD WIN THIS WIN again we lose well damn we lost again.....game 3 undeafted texans wow going to be tuff but again I think we will win because why??? I want them to lol....I could care less about what houston has if every person on there team was on the pro bowl I would still think my Dallas Cowboys would win because I am aa fan oof this team I'm not gunna predict a loss and hope to be wrong that's just failure to me and heartless gutless eetc...etc...so I guess I'm a homer whatever that means.

Being a rational person means you weigh the pertinent factors of the game and set your expectations based on the information.
