I'm starting to like the Deion idea

Yep..

Dan campbell works, because he lets his coordinators do their thing. That’s how Jimmy used to coach as well.

A HC in charge of both. Instead we seem to pit one against the other and look to point blame when things don't go according to plan. Like the ridiculous setup with Garrett and Phillips.

It would be entertaining for sure. I like him over Kellen and Zimmer but want Gruden over those three. The coach I really want would never be hired……so, here we are

I’ve become a firm believer in it’s ultimately about the coordinators. The influence of Fangio on the Eagles defense, including personnel acquisition, is there for people to see. The Chargers with Harbaugh crapped the bed because of Greg Roman. He’s been awful this year and Ravens fans were saying I told you so when it came to Lamar and the playoffs with Greg Roman. Joe Lombardi with Staley and now this….

There is nothing online saying Deion is out.

That’s no different than any other coach. No crap
Some HCs call plays…. And some HCs are dead set on choosing their guys, despite their lack of success. Jim Harbaugh choosing Greg Roman is the example I gave. So when I say coordinator, I mean HCs that actually focus on getting the best available and ceding control…. Not what is comfortable

Mr Sanders beeotch slapped a young girl behind a jewelry counter before the big game at FSU...Bowden wagged his finger and azz wipe Sanders played.

Everyone turns a blind eye...he can kiss my azz

Go Cowboys!

I have my doubts if Deion could be as effective with NFL players as he has been with teenagers. Same for Witten. I'd be all for bringing in either of them to be position coaches but straight to Head Coach? No way.

If we're going to burn it down, we may as well use napalm. And there is no one more incandescent than Deion.

Yes. Walk around head coaches need elite coordinators. Everybody knows this. Head coaches that call plays need to be elite coordinators. That’s the game

Doesn't really get more burnt than what Jerry and his kid have done in the past year.

He brings a certain respectability and winning attitude
Won't be a puppet
Won't stand for the nonsense they pull every year in free agency
Not many coaches will get the leeway he would
I see someone who can change the culture and force the tough decisions since Jerry and his kid seem incapable of it
He could bring a little bit of hope back to an organization that is desperate for it
Plus he's always had a good relationship with Jerry.

Seems fitting exactly 30 years after being this teams first FA.

Now compare a Moore hire to a Deion hire and how Jerry would handle both situations. It's really night and day. Sanders won't be tip toeing around Jerry and his kid.
he's 13-12 in big boy football though.

Good.

I regret to inform you that idea is dead.
Is this like how some of you guys were SO SURE Dak wasn't getting a new deal?

Not a single report suggests Deion isn't a candidate or that he isn't even considering it.
