Lololollol. Ok

Team won 1 game before he got there. You don’t turn water into wine over night
yeah and he brought the number one player in the country and a great recruiting class and won 3 more games (the same as they'd won the season prior to the 1 win season) it's just not that impressive.

9-4 isnt all that impressive w/ what he brought with him, but if you say so. i like him. i just dont know that he brings winning with him
Colorado is a crap job. Very hard to recruit. Dieon has performed a miracle winning 9 games there. He would be a fool not to come to Dallas if Jerry wants him. He's basically starting from scratch next year with a new QB and no Travis Hunter. It's perfect timing for him.

He brings a certain respectability and winning attitude
Won't be a puppet
Won't stand for the nonsense they pull every year in free agency
Not many coaches will get the leeway he would
I see someone who can change the culture and force the tough decisions since Jerry and his kid seem incapable of it
He could bring a little bit of hope back to an organization that is desperate for it
Plus he's always had a good relationship with Jerry.

Seems fitting exactly 30 years after being this teams first FA.

Now compare a Moore hire to a Deion hire and how Jerry would handle both situations. It's really night and day. Sanders won't be tip toeing around Jerry and his kid.
I'm definitely on board. For many different reasons

Hahahah. Yeah that’s enough to turn it around in one season. Are you this clueless or do you just pretend ?

Good.

I regret to inform you that idea is dead.
Nope, it's not. Forget what Deion said to the media, his "statement", just like you can't trust what JJ says. If JJ presents the right deal, Deion is coming to Dallas...he just can't say that in public, in case he stays in Colorado. And Colorado even knows that. ;)

This isn’t recruiting.. Deion can only win if he gets real coordinators
Of course, that would be part of the deal. Deion manages the team and helps recruit players, he finds quality OCs to run the offense, defense and special teams.

It will either work well, or it will be a total fiasco. No middle ground with Jerry + Deion. And I like that. Just what this franchise needs.

if he won't be a puppet, he won't be the HC

jerry has said it so many times. He signs the checks so he has final say in everything

It wasn’t hard to recruit for Deion. Recruiting is what college football is all about and now they pay players too. Recruiting has little relevance to the pros. Saban sucked in the NFL. So did Urban Meyer.

I think he’s just trying to wrangle more $$ out of Colorado. I think he stays there unless Jerry comes big.

I also think Jerry would have to buyout 8 mil in Colorado contract

Deion is going to have zero influence on a pro player when it comes to tens of millions of dollars via a contract.

Plus, college players want visibility to get drafted, pro players are in the league.

They don’t need Deion at the point they are in the league.

But if he can find quality coordinators, I’m down with it.

Apparently, it’s 10 million.

Joey Klatt reported they already have an extension on the table. The amount of money he has brought to Colorado must be ridiculous.

The guy may be a better negotiator than he was a CB.

Primetime is still a recruiter at heart...I think some young players will want to play with PrimeTime....more than like a Vrabel or some old school coach.

Deion is old school at heart, but he'd likely let stars be stars.

Deion plus quality coordinators could work.....or not.

With most of the coaching options, most are not thrilling, and there's little chance of it working. I never saw McCarthy being able to take this team deep into the playoffs, I just never saw it...no matter how many regular season wins they had. He never looked like a Big Game Coach...and rarely was.

I’m cool with it, as it’s a huge cultural shift in Dallas. I want a new direction, whether Deion or another new face. At this point, we need to shake up to clear a lot of dead weight,

I know that. The point is that he has done a great job at Colorado.......about as well as anyone could do.

Saban did not "suck". He coached 2 years and went 15-17. Jimmy Johnson was 1-15 his first year and 7-9 his second, for comparison. Saban quit b/c he needed a QB and had talked Drew Brees into signing with Miami but his GM botched the deal and Brees went to New Orleans instead. Saban was pissed so when Alabama came calling , it was a no-brainer.

How about Pete Carrol? Did he suck?

Exactly, we need a MAJOR shakeup...of mindset and culture.

Jimmy Johnson was improving every year and is maybe top 5 all time in personnel evaluator of talent and redefined drafting in the NFL.

15-17 is garbage..

And of course there are exceptions, but you also forgot that Carroll was with the Jets prior to Seattle and they had multiple years of coaching through the ranks. Deion had none of that.
