Ironic coz you thank Zeke for Gibbs and Bijan Holding in.......both players, like Zeke, are in the 3rd year of their rookie contracts and owe their clubs two more years (4th and 5th year option ). They are elite/top players at their positions, saying I want my new deal now.
BTW......you can also thank Stephen Jones. Remember when we intentionally ran the hell out of DeMarco Murray the final year of his contract? Dude led the league in rushing yards and touches. He had 449 touches, a Cowboy record for RBs ( 6th most in league history) but SJ low-balled him, saying 'any RB can run behind our O-line '.
Well, Zeke's agent remembered and blindsided Stephen after his 3rd year by threatening to hold out without a new contract. Rather than calling Zeke's bluff, Stephen panicked and rest .......gave him a record-setting contract for RBs.
Murray record-setting year for touches.......

The 2015 Dez Bryant negotiations showed
exactly what kind of unethical scumbag Jerry Jones actually is and why no player should ever trust him.
The Cowboys were negotiating with Dez and were not happy that he had engaged Roc Nation Sports (Jay-Z) as his representation.
An anonymous woman had made a 911 call in 2014 claiming she saw Dez dragging a woman out of a car in a Walmart parking lot.
During the negotiations, Jerry called Dez into his office and personally told him that there was video footage of the event. Up to that moment, Dez hadn’t heard anything about any videos or the alleged incident.
Why hadn't he heard anything? Well, because the video didn’t exist and he was never there.
Jerry completely fabricated its existence to threaten and intimidate Dez.
Later, in a
Rolling Stone interview, Dez talked about how Jerry used the threat of leaking it as leverage. Jerry eventually admitted they knew there was no video, but he changed his timeline several times because he’s Jerry, and Jerry is a world-class liar.
Right after that meeting, Jerry, no doubt through Stephen’s media minions, leaked the rumor of the video to the press.
This all happened right after the Ray Rice incident, when the NFL had just ended Rice's career. The word around the league was that even a hint of domestic violence would result in bans for any player. Jerry’s team had even told Dez they were afraid this would be his "Ray Rice moment."
Jerry then told Dez that he was going to franchise tag him (sounds familiar), and Dez got mad. He denied the entire thing.
He and his agency threatened a holdout, even though he stood to forfeit $750k per game. Dez called his bluff, and Jerry caved, giving Dez a $70 million deal.
It finally came out that Walmart had officially denied there was ever any video or even an internal security report.
Furthermore, Dez’s girlfriend had told police at the time that she was actually having an argument with another man and that Dez wasn’t even there.
So, anytime someone wants to take Jerry’s side on these negotiations and points the finger at "ungrateful players who “don’t know their place," I just assume they either don’t know what a conniving villain Jerry is, or they know and just don’t care because of their loyalty to the laundry.
