Imagine if Rush Leads the Cowboys to Victory over the Eagles

There are too many issues with the team beyond our favorite player underachievers. Stars of the long standing crap-fest: Jerry the Owner-GM; Stephen Jones & McClay Executive Management; and the majority of the coaching staff particularly the key 3 - McCarthy, Zimmer, Schottenheimer.

If, if, if. Not going to happen. Will learn just how bad Cooper Rush really is.

Imagine if rush leads this team to victories over the eagles, Texans, and commanders. And then Dak gets the start on Thanksgiving against the Giants and loses.

Now that would be the perfect storm to finally get rid of Dak.

But honestly, this team has no shot against Philly, with or without Dak.

But it would be pretty dang entertaining if he started them on a win streak
So does your “perfect storm“ include the $150M in dead money that would hit our cap if we got rid of Dak?

How apocalyptic will things get in Dallas?
It will only be apocalyptic for about a dozen fans here that are waiting with bated breath at their keyboards to bash Rush after each game.

Imagine some here trying to compare a 2 million a year backup to their 60 million dollar guy......

Not to burst any bubbles but the last time Rush face the Eagles he threw 2 INTs in the first half and Dallas lost 26-17. That was when Dallas had a much better defense and a better offensive line.

If Rush beat Philly, it will be a miracle.

The Eagles are not a Detroit or SF. They’re also pretty banged up. They can be beat.

MM told us that he took over the play calling so we would be a run heavy offense.

How much does the playbook need to be opened for that?
Sounds like the run heavy offense needs to be opened up more then.

Would it really make a difference? Jones still runs the team.
