Dallas doesn't have realistic chance...when Rush went 4-1, he led the offense to 22nd ranking in every offensive category. the defense allowed about 13 points a game and scored a couple of time.

give me a defense like that and I will lead cowboys to 8 wins. gauranteed!

I don't know if a low score would necessarily be a testament to Rush's play.

I'm not sure I'd refer to Rush as a "real quarterback," either. No matter what anyone thinks if Prescott, Rush is a career backup. The only thing that makes him good at that role IMO is his high football IQ. It's too bad we can't put his football mind into Trey Lance's body.

I really like Rush, but the defense carried him. Now he's stepping into the worst running team, and worst running defense, and just an overall dumpster fire. I want him to win, but at the same time I have little hope this year. We are better off losing.

Well now we can play Rush and Lance at the same time with Lance no longer being the 3rd emergency QB. (I wonder if we will pick up an emergency QB? I wonder how long Dak will be out? IR for 6 weeks?)

I can see them both in the backfield and we can switch up run pass plays, change who gets the hike and lateral back an forth until a receiver gets open and whichever QB has the ball, they can throw it!

Oh yeah lots of fun and that genius/innovative MM can put it all together. That or our first play will be Rush under center and hand off to Rico for 3 yards.

I will still pay attention for any positives, but this season was over when we got stomped by NO and we all knew it then.

I had little hope for this year heading into this year, and that was before the injuries hit. I always root for my team to win, but yeah, the odds are stacked to the ceiling against it. That's part of the reason I'd rather see Lance. It would be an awful circumstance for him, QBing a team with no running game, a limited receiving corps and a bad line, but it would at least give him a chance to get some game experience and learn.

I hate the eagles, I don't even remember how many times I have said this in my life, but I want them to win. We literally need a new LT/RT (maybe Guyton can be a RT) DE/DT's WR's 2-5, A RG, safeties. This team is a damn wreck.

Losing may well turn out to be the deal with the greatest likelihood, regardless of what occurs in the weeks to come.
Getting higher draft picks next draft might possibly be the key for our best chances for better things to come. :huh:

Dak lovers will be hating on every move Rush makes, and if he wins they'll say the defense stepped up their game.

And if Rush struggles they'll be in their glory.
