It was a mistake letting him go.

I said in the summer that he'd have more sacks his first year in Denver than Mincey would have in his Cowboys career. He probably has already done enough to accomplish that.

if you bothered to do any research you will find that on average Demarcus Ware had more plays per game then any other top pass rusher in the NFL over the last 9 years.
We never gave him much rest during the game and you wonder why he was tired in the 4th. Gee.

I don't wonder at all. We all know that Ware never got breaks, but the problem is when you rely on a guy 100% of the time, but he can only give you 90% and there is no depth... you lose games.

and you basically said that was his fault. Really brilliant deduction there.

Sacks aren't everything. This defense isn't getting sacks, but what they are doing is holding up. One of the biggest issues with Ware was that he would fade late in games, and he is getting older and more injury prone. You can't rely on someone like that for that much of your salary cap.

What's disturbing is you very well might have typed that while wearing your Brandon Carr jersey.

If you don't get that sack every time on 3rd & 10 in 4th qtr = fade late in games

Some players can never win. Not even one of the best defensive players ever

When you're paid the equivalent of three starting defensive players, you have to pull that weight. And when you fail to do so, the team will generally lose.

It's much better to have a rotation of guys, then to have 1 guy and no depth or talent around him.

I guess you want to double down on being dumb?

I think you're the dumb one . Wanting too pay 10 million to a guy constantly getting hurt , fading in big games , declining in skill ?

Never accomplished anything with him . Wasn't a leader , wasn't intimidating , was terrible at run defense . Go watch the 2012 season ending game @ Washington . It's good riddance.

More confirmation bias.

At no point did I assign fault. Simply saying that the situation we are in now is better than the situation we were in when we relied on him for our entire defense.

It looks like it now for sure.

Never would've guessed we would be this good though.

I'm still ok that they let him go for that price but I wish he could be apart of this.

With Ware, you're putting all your eggs in one basket. And as a result you would need him to perform constantly and consistently.

It's hard for any player to do it.

I'd compare him a lot to Romo, but I feel as though Romo delivered a lot more than Ware.
