A decent record against a division rival is worse than trading down instead of taking Steven Jackson? Worse than trying to make Zimmer fit into the 3-4? Worse than Marco Rivera and Dat Dude?

i'll have to agree - and since today is kick 'em for a word day - "let them win"?

parcells didn't LET them win. i'd have to be pretty sure he was against it.

Yeah, I don't think Parcells deliberately let any team beat him, it's just that he was clinging so hard to his old ways that he simply could not let go even if it meant losing - and it did. The greater the pressure, the more suffocating he became - the outcome was inevitable.

He did well overall in selecting players, he just couldn't let them be themselves, he just had to ride tight herd on them and lost them because they never bought into his program. I think Wade will take these guys places BP couldn't.

He'll still be a good football commentator, but his successful coaching days are behind him. It was good to see him arrive; it was good to see him leave.

Absolutely! No question about it.

Hopefully, Jerry has learned enough not to let it slip back to where it was before Parcells got here. Time will tell and I'm in no hurry.

was letting the Commanders win 3 games against us. AND letting them sweep a season on us. If there was one thing the other coaches could od was beat the Commanders. but Nooooo, bill parcells not only let them beat us. but sweep us for the first time since when?? Over 10 years??
