There's a big risk with his body man... I don't see them throwing a lot of money at him. They already paid Jaylon and didn't work out.
Agree. Can't believe Jaylons is starting for the Giants now.

I have been an LVE (gluestick) hater all season but I will say this, LVE has shown me something in last few games. I still think we need to consider a Milano type LBer in FA or draft next year. We need LB, cornerback, defensive line (one tech). A really good LB core paired with Parsons pass rush would be devastating.

Hmmm... I thought LVE was trash based on this message board. Too slow, can't tackle, etc.
I was always an LVE fan, but in fairness, he didn’t play well for a period of time. “Why” that is the case is the subject of legitimate debate.

I've been a fan of LVE from day one. There for awhile, I didn't know if he could get back after he he he got hurt. Everybody said he might not make it. I never gave up on him. I'm glad he is starting to make an impact. I knew he could if he could stay healthy.

I think that injury shook him to his core, his play really picked up 3-4 games before the shoulder stinger where he delivered a hard hit and got back up from it.

A clear essential piece to team unity on defense. Has a little of the Bill Bates mojo, when he’s on the field everything just seems to fit into place. Nice to see him back and balling last night.

Signing LVE needs to be a priority this off-season. The further he is removed from the injury, the better he is playing.
I agree, his injuries at this stage of his career scares me though. But if we can keep him, absolutely!

If anything stood out to me last night, it was the impact that LVE has on this defense. When he went out to injury a few weeks ago, he was the team's leading tackler (I believe?). The unhappy result was a precipitous decline in what had been among the stoutest defenses in the League. First game back, he steps in to lead the team with 9 tackles, 5 solo tackles and 2 defended passes.

The sports shows are all raving about the Cowboys' offense this morning. But the defense was equally impressive, and I'd argue that a big reason for that was the re-insertion of one of its most important pieces.
Isn't it odd how two of his best games in the pros has been playoff games. He is no all pro but he is an asset. Nice to see a positive thread about him.

I've always been a big booster of LVE but I'm not for signing him in the free agent market. There will be some teams who underestimate his injury risk and offer too much. It shouldn't be us.

1A) Schutlz
1B) LVE
Schulz had 6.5 ypt this year.
Remember Rico Gathers? He had 6.4 ypt.

Ferguson had 7.9 ypt.

Bye Schulz.

Gallup had 5.7.

We *so* should have kept Cooper and waved goodbye to Gallup and Schulz.
Cooper - 8.8 ypt with *Cleveland*. Lamb, 8.7. That would have been a deadly starting duo. Then Ferguson at 7.9 at TE.

Schulz's production wasn't the focal point in my comment.
It was about how many CZers had contempt for him ---in the previous offseason ---- and the disdain for him when nuclear when the Cowboys franchised -tagged him for 2022.
My amended list of "most disrepected Cowboys players in 2022"
1) Elliott
2a) Schultz
2b) Vander Esch

Yep, and I want to apologize right here in front of y'all. I have not been LVE's biggest fan and he got criticism from me for being slow and afraid to pop when he tackles (just pull them down). But he makes this D much better and it shows when he's out. He was definitely seeing the field and knowing what TB wanted to do last night as was most of the D .
Way to man up!!!

I don't disagree with that. I absolutely think he should be a priority, but not a "sign at any cost" player.
