I watched the NFLN coverage (same as local coverage I believe). I swear I had flashes of great memories as it came down. Landry's silhouette in the shadow, Staubach's last comeback against the Skins, the DCC running out of the tunnel. And just like that, the stadium was gone.

Correct you are sir. They charged $25 per car to watch the implosion but after some bad publicity they decided they would donate it all.

It's amazing how efficient these implosions are. She was down in about 30 seconds.

Lame interview by the local tv guy. Interviewed a lady who had never even watched a game there and just went out there because her mom was a fan. Surely they could have found someone better.

Weird. Right before it went down, the image that came to mind was that NFL Films shot of Tom Landry's silhouette in the shadows with the sun coming through the hole.
