hell no i dont care if we had a Great DC as with Parcells at coach he would probably force the DC to be more conservative and he is obviously doesnt know how to run a offense... the guy is washed up and is holding the team back!

Nobody said anything about winning it. I think Dallas has a chance to go to the SB in a really mediocre NFC. I don't think they'd have much of a chance there however.

Of course I think any team in the NFC, from the Lions to the 49ers would have a chance if they were in the tournament. The NFC is just that bad.

There is no question we have a chance to get there, just being in the playoffs gives you that chance, and I know what you're getting at, but our defense is SO deplorable it is disturbing, quite frankly.

Indeed, the NFC is weak.......where we disagree, I think, is the degree in which the other NFC teams are weak.

I just can't see it - but who knows, that's why we watch the games.

Even though I question some of his decisions Im still confident that he can get it done. The man has a great track record...

fair enough - and since you're vocal and one of the "yes" votes, why? what has he done in the last month in at least (2) HUGE games where we came out flat? his own replies to questions shows he's really lost -

what do you see from parcells *now* (not really looking back on history) that gives you the "he can do it" warm fuzzy?

this is what i don't get - jim mora is fired and he was +1 over the last 3 years over parcells. don't remember the exact numbers for mora had won 1 more and conversely lost 1 less than parcells and no one wants him now.

by pure record parcells is getting away w/murder.

YES!

If you cant see that we are a good team you are a serious HATERS.

- How many defensive plays were close to an interception, but the players couldn't capitalize? Parcells can't make roy or henry catch.

- How many yards did we spot the lions because we sacrificed some of our special teams players to test out our pass rushers? Parcells decided to inactivate elam so we could try out glymph and co. I bet he thought we would still win.

- How many bad calls were there by the refs? Yeah thats uncontrollable, but we got the worst of it against the lions.

We have everything we need to win. Don't get fooled by the hysteria that
things are falling apart.

Vote NO now, eat crow later.

this is parcells defense that is falling apart at the seems, dude. while he can't make henry catch, he can put them in better schemes so the flat isn't ALWAYS open.

he can adjust to what the other team is doing and to date, he's refused. he's got his way and he will literally die with it. right now he's just taking us with him.

what you're seeing is the direct result of parcells decisions.

Way to impress me with your reasoning. You convinced me, I am a homer. Parcells should be fired....I'm sick of making it to the playoffs or having a winning record.

If you go look at any forum of a nonplayoff team, people are sick of the status quo. Go to the steelers forum, people are calling for Cowher to be fired. Why? Because he didn't confirm he will play again next year which caused the team to not make the playoffs.

Why can't Dallas appreciate what it has? We will all sit here and figure out whats wrong with this team when we are eliminated. Right now we have a shot, like every other team. You don't know what happens and neither do I. Would you have told me Carson Palmer would get injured on the 1st drive last year in the playoffs?

Time is the only truth, and for now I'm going to trust Bill.

Who else would I trust to lead us to a superbowl, an unproven coach? Give me someone else and I will trust them.

Unbelievable that this many folk still have faith in Bill after watching this $*** the past few weeks. I have faithfully followed the Cowboys for over thirty years and I've never witnessed this type of collapse before.

Big Bill apoligists are like alcoholics.........they just don't know "when to say when." :muttley:

I personally have had way too much Big Bill.......and I'm not liking the hang over.

I am a Pacells homer too. Can yiu remember Campo's final games? They were horrific -and we were nowhere near the playoffs.

Has BP improved this team during his time? Unquestionably yes. We will continue to improve.

Anything could happen. For all you know, we could win next weekend and get this new found momentum to take us to the Superbowl.

I don't see that happenning and I think Parcells really hurt us by brining some of "his" players like Vinny Testaverde. Honestly, I gave up on Parcells during the offseason after his first season. We had great momentum after our first season but he failed to address weaknesses that I and several others saw at the time. He did nothing to upgrade our QB and cornerback, and free safety positions. Had he addressed those early, we could have competed for a title. Instead, he became complacent and arrogant and did nothing to address those deficiencies which created a "debt" if you will for this club.
