I do miss those back shoulder throws from Romo to Dez. Those were indefensible. Dak isn't as comfortable with that throw.
Dak threw a lot of them in preseason last year but went away from it during the year - not sure why, they had good chemistry on them.

Oh man the four wides are going to be fun to watch. I can't wait for camp.

It will be an interesting year for Dez.
I think he's got to go to the Michael Irvin School of pushing off because his days of just leaping a mile high and grabbing the ball are over. Too much wear and tear on the old bod

Is Dez gonna be able to earn his salary in this arrangement?

Depends on how you look at earning his salary. If Dez effectively beats one-on-one coverage forcing defenses to double him, which opens up the underneath routes for Beasley and Switzer, then yes. If you mean is he going to be targeted a lot whether he's doubled or open, then no.

Dez's responsibilities are to make plays when they are there to make and to draw off coverage so that others can make plays. Sometimes that second aspect of being the No. 1 receiver gets lost in the shuffle.

I'm am very excited for training camp and the season to begin. I know the schedule is brutal but this should be a very fun year.

Wasn't that weird? Maybe it was those dropped TDs in the end zone during Week 1. They seemed to find their stride towards the end of the season, and a bit during the playoffs.

They must be planning to use Switzer on offense. They didn't use Harris or whitehead though so who knows.

We will find out how good this offense really is this year for sure.

Been talking about this since he was drafted. Hopefully Witten comes off the field enough because only running Switzer out in an empty set is stupid. He needs more snaps than an empty set or Jet sweep role and the offense will be more deadly in the passing game with him than Witten. Not to mention if they refuse to take Witten out, Zeke will be out for the majority of Switzers snaps and the defense can pin its ears back. That makes the offense less effective, not more.

Couldn't agree more. JG has to get creative with his lineups and Witten needs to sit a little more. He is still very reliable just not the combo matchup nightmare others can be.

God be with us if we depend totally on JG's creativity. I feel much better knowing Scott Linehan is in charge of the offense.

It's been over 2 years since we've seen those passes, you'll be ok.

I can well imagine that Dak is practically salivating at the very thought of having Switzer to rely upon this season. The first downs should likely become even more numerous in the weeks and months to come. Opposing defenses will have fits trying to cover both Beasley and Switzer.
