Had Dallas been able to get into the playoffs(which was a long shot) then Romo would have come back. They didn't IR him until late in the season. The Packers are in better shape to make the playoffs this season than Dallas was in 2010 when Romo got hurt.

Don't care about the playoffs. He can just be hurt until December 16th.

If Rogers is out for a while I see the Packers trying to get someone to come in because Senecca Wallace looks terrible. Who they can get I have no clue but now I may have to re-evaluate this game a s a possible win for the Cowboys.

Matt Flynn cleared waivers -- nobody put a claim on him including the Packers.

Has any player in NFL history made more money off of a single game (Flynn vs Detroit in 2011) than Matt Flynn?

Marques Colston came back from a broken collarbone after only two weeks back in 2011 and Colston plays a position where you absolutely get exposed to big hits all the time (at least compared to a QB).

Obviously there is a wide range of collarbone type injuries ranging from relatively minor to season ending.

So he'll be back and fully healthy just in time to play us! Isn't that swell?! LOL.

Fractured my collarbone one time, and it was sling for 2 weeks, then no weight bearing activity for another 2 with a followup X-ray to see that frac had healed.

Possibly his is less than mine was, but can't see 3 weeks for a pro football player being realistic.

Just read a report from Ian rappoport that he has a break in the collarbone. That story claims he'll be back for the postseason.

Break equals separation of bones. Fractures are like a hairline crack....

If a break then postseason sounds like the true scenario

Fractures, broken bones--you can call it what you wish, it means the same thing. A broken bone is not worse than a fracture, they are one and the same. Fracture actually means "the act of being broken". There are different types of fractures but it is still broke.

You wouldn't call a compound fracture hairline, heh.

Nonetheless, Rodgers isn't coming back anytime soon.
