If Rodgers plays against the Cowboys I don't see him passing for 400+ yard even if he is fully healthy.

Packers having the #2 running game in the NFL and Rodger's yards have been falling and Lacy's rushing totals have been going up.

I was kind of hoping they would just put him on the IR and not take a risk this season. lol

I'm sure they will take a dabble-check to make sure when he can return. lol

I see what you did there. :D

if true, he is done for the regular season. a broken collar bone, even when healed, is prone to break again. it takes way more then 6 weeks to heal to the point of being strong as before.

it will take 6 weeks to swing a golf club, more to feel like you can get hit by 300 lb guys.

Aikman returned in season in 1998 from a broken collarbone within 6 weeks if I remember. His backup at the time was your one and only Jason Garrett.

Updates are in on @AaronRodgers12 clavicle injury. First off, much respect for the QB to jog off, and try to "put pads back on" to come back
2nd, I am on the outside looking in and trying to share my insider knowledge/experience. I have no insider information. Respect Dr MacKenzie
Based video and all new info, it appears that @AaronRodgers12 has a non displaced distal clavicle fx @ AC joint. Surgery is unlikely.
There is risk of displacement and further damage if he were to return immediately. All signs point to ligaments ok (CC, AC, CA, GH, etc).
The only reason to do surgery would be for displacement which he doesn't seem to have now. But return to early play would risk this
Hard to give time estimate on @AaronRodgers12 return w/o examination or seeing studies. Based on available info and my experience: 4-6 weeks
If the @AaronRodgers12 fracture incomplete as some speculate, could be sooner in the 2-4 week range. #packers med staff will treat him right

That's a wide range -- 2 to 6 weeks.

Thanks.

Still an inconclusive diagnoses, which makes sense since he's not an insider. All we can do is wait and see.

We held out hope that Romo's wasn't a season ender when it happened. How'd that work out?

Different situations, but just saying.

I hate that Rodgers got injured. Aside from Romo, he is my favorite QB not on the Cowboys. He is a class act from start to finish. And if the Cowboys don't win a SB, I would always root for Rodgers and the Packers to win.

the 'hate' will end as soon as the mediocrity does

do you think there would be these anti-jerry and anti-jason posts if we had won 2 SBs in the last 4-5 years?

and you say that like its more an indictment of of jerry/jason than a moronic fan base.

Well, I really don't need to justify my position about him to you. He's a damn QB.

Means I hate the take but if I responded as I normally would, it would breach every code of conduct on this board.

Had Dallas been able to get into the playoffs(which was a long shot) then Romo would have come back. They didn't IR him until late in the season. The Packers are in better shape to make the playoffs this season than Dallas was in 2010 when Romo got hurt.
