You sound like you are very high on Williams. What about his game makes you favor Williams over Cobb?

First person to think I was high on Williams. The reality is that I think he has potential, but is wildly inconsistent. Rather than being high on Williams, I think Bryant is that much better and more valuable than Nelson.

There is no way I would take Beasley over Adams. I think that Adams is going to have a great year.

I think Beasley is going to have a great year.

After his breakout game against the Giants, his numbers extrapolated over the course of a full season would have been 739 yards and 10 touchdowns. I think he can actually do even, especially on the yards.

Given our personnel and Linehan's history, we might finally see the *GASP* SCREEN *GASP* implemented in Dallas, which the backs and Beasley are all perfect for.

Agreed..

I like our receivers better because of the Dez factor.

Also, Williams in his 3rd year looks to really break out.

I would love to see our receivers in a passing scheme as dynamic as GB's though with the same balance we currently have.

A whole lot of people seem to think Beasley is ready to break out. I saw lots of things I liked, however, when you look at the stats, he actually had less catches (2) in 2014 than he had the year before and only 52 more yards. He did catch 2 more TDs than in 2013, however, that was offset by his 2 lost fumbles -- he led all Cowboy's WRs in lost fumbles in 2014.

My question is this -- what about Cole Beasley's 2014 season vs his 2013 season makes you project this is the year he becomes one of the top slots WRs in the NFL?

I think 1 if Dallas struggles in the run game the short slants to Cole will be something the Cowboys look to. 2nd over the 2nd half of the season Romo and Cole just seemed to be clicking. I think Romo trust in Cole is a reason for more production out of the slot

I think all these things are true.

Having said that, I'm not 100% confident that his numbers will go up appreciably.

Maybe he hits 500 yards this season?

Maybe, for me the main things is executing the play when it comes his way. The stats will take care of themselves.

I concur.

40 receptions, 500 yards, and 5 TDs would be great production from the WR3 (slot) position.

I really hope you are right, unless it means less touches for Dez or a subpar running game.....

It's based on use. The team really began to use him a lot more towards the end of the year, turned into a much more productive player. Has Romo's trust.

Yeah, big difference having Byron Jones instead of Moore and having Greg Hardy instead of George Selvie. Less time to find the open WR and a smaller area to throw it to.

Agree. We were exposed by both, but so far Jones , from what I've seen on video, appears to be able to provide tight coverage and actually look for the ball. A welcomed change
