Inside the Huddle: Romo not playing

The Dolphins can roll teams like the Pats and Chargers with Chad Pennington, Anthony Fasano, and Greg Camarillo leading the passing charge.

If we can't win at least two of the next three with or without Tony then how good are we really?

we just lost to the Rams and nearly lost to 0-7 Cinci at home...we're not very good

I beg to differ.

But we'll see.

we probably werent going to win either of the next two games even with Romo, so nothing has really changed.

the best they can hope for is to get him and some others healthy and hope they catch fire after the bye week...I think its a longshot at best to make a real playoffrun, but you never know.

Pleeeeease!!!! This is such BS.....

Exactly.

Pennington is probably better than Johnson (rather, is...). We have them so beat at the skill positions, other than perhaps at RB.

it's because he can't catch it and throw quickly. so he wouldn't be able to handle the blitz or throw a hot read.

apparently he realized this during the rams warmup

Exactly-and for that matter, look at Pitt's OL...they lost Alan Faneca to FA, Simmons to injury...and supposedly with Big Ben running for his life now, they're still playing lights out.

OK-their QB is healthy, but with that (supposedly)POS line, you think they're season is doomed, right? NOT!

Even under Parcells, we could never overcome injuries. But on the flip side, why are there so many teams lesser than us that overcome injuries just fine?

A week ago I would have said we could pull together 1 or 2 wins during the 3 game stretch without Tony. However, the performance we put on vs. the Rams completely vanished any confidence I had.

I doubt Romo plays until after the bye week...

yea..but pittsburgh plays with emotion...hell hines ward broke a damn good linebacker's jaw on a block this sunday.

brutal hit!!

That sucks. This team obviously needs him, but I still think they need to stand on their own feet too, as opposed to always relying on Tony so much.

The bad news is that this Dallas team just got drilled by the Rams. The good news is that most teams have one weird clunker a season. Maybe that was Dallas', and they can get back to playing better ball.

Like Jerry said, the coaches (esp. Garrett) have to step back and look at the bigger picture--at what's working and what isn't.

dude, take the blinders off...this team was playing like crap even before Romo got hurt...Tampa and NYG are both better than Cinci and Arizona are

No big deal. We must learn to win with whomever's in there, and if we can't at least be .500 in that span while Romo is out, then the Cowboys are frauds.

**** happens.

It could be worse. We could be like the Patriots and be without our starting QB all season long.
They beat the Broncos 41-7 with their backup. We have brad.
