Not sure why you are directing this at me... but whatever.

What Rivers did was incredibly gutsy... and arguably stupid. But I got to hand it to him. That's one tough SOB.

That wasn't so much for you as it was simply me quoting the bringing up of Rivers and his situation last year. It wasn't really me saying anything about you. :)

It was a tough show by Rivers but ultimately stupid. He could have easily screwed himself up more and he certainly did not help his team in that game. I applaud his effort but it didn't help them.

With that in mind I'd really be pretty pissed if Romo pushed himself back into the line up too early and then got himself reinjured and was lost for the entire season.

...and I will repeat, what Rivers did is ball to the walls tough. But on the other hand, Tomlinson took himself out of that game didnt he?

Its tough to play thru a broken pinkie.......every QB holds the ball differently and it was said by a former QB that the way Romo throws....with his quick relaease....he relies on that part of his hand more then other QB's

With the amount of injuries this team has....its going to be a battle to get into the playoffs. Having Brad Johnson start proablly 3 games for us is not a good sign. Missing Newman hurts and our pass rush has been hurting without Spencer in the lineup.

What we can best hope for is that our special teams plays well and our young CB's step up. Our offensive line needs to become dominate...and hopefully Brad Johnson can drive the bus.

Its alot to ask....but if we somehow win 1 of the next 2 games with these players missing....then hopefully we can regoup...get healthy....sneak into the playoffs and do some damage there.

Lets just limit our mistakes and play safe football.....we have no other choice.....Without Romo we cannot out score teams or overcome our stupid mistakes.

He's been around 6 years...

To me Bollinger is no better, or worse, than Brad Johnson.

I think the bigger issue is this:
How about the Defense growing a pair and start acting like they have a clue.
How about the O-line start acting like they give a crap and start doing their job, namely giving whoever is QB a half decent chance to succeed.

With the way I feel about Flozell Adams & Co. right now, I am glad we aren't risking the Franchise QB.:banghead:

I hear Dante Cullpepper is available.........:laugh2:

I expect to be 4-5 then.

Hopefully we can manage to go 6-1 when he returns.

I do not understand this whole debate.

The simple fact of the matter is Tony Romo did not get on his white horse and march us to victory with his broken finger like Brett Favre. Afterall, Brett called him. On the telephone. And everything. So it should have been done.

Then, we all were shocked when he did not come screaming off the bench to rally us in the Rams game where it was clear we were ill-prepared for.

So, what we have now is a simple case where Romo just does not want it bad enough.

I can understand faulting him where he has choice.

This is not Cabo with Jessica.

Anyone imagining they have insight is even more ridiculous than those wondering about his motives then.

I'd rather have him out b/c it's easy to worry about NOW. But we have 7 games after the bye.... As it is, the way the NFC is shaping up, it looks like the team will have to make a run and win out to make the playoffs. We might as well go with a ≈100% Romo than risk further injury.

Look at Newman, Roy38 and Hurd...rushing back hasn't helped them. IMO not worth the risk.

For the "season over" crowd, just remember where the Giants were at this point last year. Even if this team does go to 4-5, they are far from done.

Last year proved you don't need to be 13-3 with a bye week to go to the Superbowl, you just need to peak in December.

If, going into December, Romo is healthy, Roy Williams is up to speed on the offense, Felix Jones is healthy, McBriar is on his way back, etc, I like our chances.

cuz your a fraud of a fan. our qb gets hurt "he can't play cut him". our defense falters blame everyone then make up rediculous claims about how our team leader in tackles sucks and misses more then he makes. and you'd watch the steelers cuz your from PA moron.

Romo was not throwing the ball right during warmups. His throws were repeatedly low and behind the receivers (much like Johnson's passes in the game). He wouldn't have been the same Romo if he had played Sunday. I don't know if it's pain or the cast, but the cast doesn't look like it would be helpful to someone's ability to throw at all.

Too bad we couldn't get Henson in that trade with Detroit as well. Any QB who can make decent throws should be able to have SOME success with the talent on offense. Unfortunately Johnson cannot make good throws anymore if it's beyond 10 yards.

I am so disheartened. Tony Romo is the lifeblood of this team. Defensive problems aside, Brad Johnson was AWFUL Sunday. All he had to do was drive the bus, and he couldn't even hit T.O. on a 10 yard out. Did you not see the three wounded ducks he threw up?

We have absolutely no chance whatsoever to win with Brad Johnson under center. If we are 4-5 heading into the bye, this season is officially over.

You might want to look up the definition of the word "officially"

I swear the majority of fans are gutless and unable to tolerate any adversity at all.
