Interesting Comment from Herm Edwards

It'll be Peyton Manning in a landslide.

i'm not so sure about that. manning has played great but so has russell wilson. manning is the qb for a team who went to the playoffs with tebow as qb. the seahawks are russell wilson, atleast on offense. i think manning is one of the greatest ever but this season right now i would vote RW

Guys, haven't you figured out Romo's MO already? It's been the same for the past 8 years.

Great stats, will win a ton of games ... but with the most important game on the line, and the most crucial moment ... he will falter. Same old same old.

Same old same old with your posts, so it even out.

Unfortunately many haven't figured this out. They will just have to see the light for themselves.

The Seahawks are NOT Russell Wilson at QB. They are as much Marshawn Lynch on offense as they are R. Wilson.

It is the team's most VALUABLE player. The Broncos went 11-5 and won a playoff game with Tim Tebow playing QB. Patriots went 10-6 with Matt Cassell.

Take Tony Romo off this team and we're already talking about the draft.

Don't get me wrong those guys are all great, but very few people realize exactly how important Romo is to this team.

Tebow went 8-8, the Pats went 11-5.

The team went 5-3 without Romo after Garrett took over. Went 1-4 with him. Went 0-3 without him under Wade.

I don't understand how some claim that the Cowboys would be nothing without Tony and at the same time say that it's a team game and he can't do it by himself.

Yeah, how far did Seattle go before Wilson got there? Wilson has good support all around him but don't kid yourself, he is solid too. I really like him and Lynch as players.

How far has Seattle gone with him there?

I didn't discount Russell - I merely suggested don't discount Lynch.

Don't ever introduce logic into a fan forum equation ;) The way that works is that if we don't win enough Tony needed more help, if we win enough, it was all Tony. That is called having the answer to the equation settled before you write it, and then writing it whatever way you need to in order to get the outcome you want. The outcome those want who write the equation is simple... Tony can't fail.

In my opinion Romo is having a good season. He has missed on a ton of throws this year, but he isn't turning the ball over. I would much rather him be consistent on the turnover issue (consistently avoiding them), than to have him more accurate and committing mind numbing turnovers. I think if he keeps playing like he is we make the playoffs this year and I think he deserves a lot of credit. It seems to me that he has accepted an emphasis that the entire team has made on winning the turnover battle. Kudos to him.

not a smart career decision, he'll be cleaning out his desk later today

11 posters liked this? WOW fact is Romo is in consideration for MVP well behind Peyton, and it makes me ill seeing so called fans get all excited and happy to bash Romo. Anyway looking forward to the "ice bowl" Monday Night Football
