If he can get better at being elusive within the gaps, and not punishing opposing D, he certainly has that kind of trajectory, CC! Emmitt was so damn elusive in a crowd.

I like how you didn't address the actual cost implications of taking Zeke and paying through the nose for RB production that is unnecessary across the league and most certainly in our offense.

Ramsey has proven to be every bit as worthy of being a number 4th overall pick as Zeke has to this point. The difference is...Ramsey plays a more important position and his rookie contract represents a bargain for his position. Zeke plays a less important position and his rookie contract represents a premium for his position.

Guys this isn't rocket science.

Now Zeke is Emmitt Smith.

He may be more talented. He also needs to stay healthy for over a decade. Which if you're a betting man...you'd argue against relative to the risk of injury at corner.

Zeke also doesn't appear to be the hardest worker. OTA reports from earlier in the offseason mentioned he had to work himself into shape. He concerns me.

But let's not get confused about the yards after contact stat. If you're running full speed through a gapping hole the odds of running through first contact are far greater. The line is still a factor
