Trading for Dee Milliner is not aggressive, it is a panic move. Trading for FS Eric Weddle is the aggressive move towards fielding a SB defense.
I guess this writer wasn't aware that Miiliner is hurt yet again and schedule to miss the next two months?
Who did we draft instead? Now we're talking. Really wish we would have draft him.
This is the primary reason I don't take anything the media says as gospel any more. We were deep at CB and are unlikely to fill the loss of OScan from outside the organization. I don't know who Erik Lambert is, but it's clear he didn't get this memo and props to Stash for completely owning him.

Wait, is he seriously available? I know he's pissed about his contract, but is SD shopping him?

Milliner is a CB for the Jets who is still under his rookie deal, not sure who you are thinking of. Eric Weddle maybe?
edit: never mind, just read what you were quoting. I don't think he's available, just think the OP was using that as an example
No, he's not available. It was just a hypothetical.
Got my hopes up for a second. This defense is a playmaking FS away from being really good(If the pass rush turns out like projected).
This defense is living up to its potential away from being really good.

So basically it's not going to happen.

We took Spencer late in the first and Weddle went early 2nd so there wasn't really much of a chance for us to get him.
