Right

But they would earn it in 2019.... that is when they would have to decide to forgo major FA signings and go for Comp PIcks

On that topic, if they are not losing any significant players to free agency in 2018 then maybe they'll be more inclined to sign 1 or 2 to significant contracts in this upcoming offseason.

Eatman is the only one that seems to be thinking on his own. The others seem to kick out whatever they are told to kick out. I want free and open coverage, but that's hard to get when Jerry is writing the checks to some of these guys.

Eatman is the best, but he still walks a pretty straight line. I remember after the Green Bay game when they were arguing if Dak should have taken a knee at the one yard line instead of scoring.

Eatman said something like, "well if you cant trust your defense to get a stop with 1 min left in the game, the team needs a new GM".

Everybody in the room looked at him in shock for like a second or two and then Eatman realized what he just said that basically Jerry needed to fire himself. He quickly said he didn't mean it that way and that they did not need a new GM, obvious CYA and damage control at that point.

It was hilarious watching Eatman let slip what he really meant and then trying to walk it back once he realized that he said it out loud.

You know you and I have never got along.

But Fuzzy, really, buddy, ole pal, do you really want this out there?

That I give Spagnola more credibility on the reliability of their inside information? Sure. It's not that I like one over the other. It's that the scouts feed Broaddus disinformation cause he passes on everything he hears on. I think Spagnola sources inside the FO are better.

And we used to get along when talking about writers and music as we shared similar interests. Not sure what changed but it did.

This is the year to spend and go for Comp picks

The FAs we are losing aren't much.....AMorris, Butler, Looney

I would keep Hitchens, DLaw and probably Cooper and sign a DT and WR
