News: The Cowboys may dangle Julius Jones on the trade market this off-season.

Impact: Marion Barber's emergence makes Jones somewhat expendable. Bill Parcells likes having two quality backs, however, and they would probably only let go of Jones for a second-round pick or higher.

Why in the world would we trade JuJo when Tuna has said multiple times that you have to have a pair of backs to win, one guy cant do it (unless you got LT of course)

So we trade JuJo and give Barber all the carries??? That would be freaking stupid, not gonna happen.

Comes from last years draft. Reports were that the Cowboys attempted to trade Jones to the Jets, and were going to try and draft Lawrence Maroney.

I don't think we trade Jones, but he certainly has to improve in certain aspects of his game.

Funny, he is a 1,000 yards back, but he just doesn't seem like one.

Because Tapper sucks? It makes perfect sense to me to trade him and get what you can, and then find another viable option. It won't be hard replacing what he has done for the last 7 weeks or so.

Yeah, he is a 1,000 yard back. But I have never been any less impressed when watching a 1,000 yards back, then I am when I watch Jones play.

LOL, so he gained 1000 yrds. Big deal, he has been horrible for 7 weeks. Terrible, meanwhile, MBIII has been the work horse for this team. JJ can't see a hole, can't follow a block and runs right up the backside of his lineman on almost every run. If you are watching the Cowboys play and you aren't saying to yourself after every Jones run, "Why isn't MBIII in there?" then there is no hope for you.

Trade his arse while he still may have some value. We can get his type of production out of anyone.

MB3 is great as a closer, like Parcells said. Just like in Baseball, you dont put your closer in in the 3rd inning.
