Interesting quote from Jerry on Talkin cowboys

Sounds to me like Jerrah is just playing with people's heads here.

Would he do that? :D

LT is THE premium position on the O line. You can figure that a top LT will make at least 20% more then a top RT.

Bradie James maybe? Kyle Kozier?

Thought we already paid, excuse me overpaid for James? I would say Newman would get more than that, and no way JJ get's 20 mil unless it is the backended bogus money he will never see. Maybe Crayton?

Interesting... and who's the rookie replacment he referred to??

Sears and Blaylock are vesatile guards that have played RT at a high level on the collegiate level.

Tony Ugoh, Allen Barbre and Ryan Harris would fall in our 2nd RD range

I agree with another Post who stated Julius Jones on the current roster and Bush who's projected to go in the 3rd Round. I had seen this statement and already figured he was referring to Julius Jones and at that time was thinking about the Boyz Drafting Lynch but it may indeed be Bush in a move up from their 3rd Round pick.

Betcha inaccurate Jerrah really meant Trung Canidate and only added "rookie" inaccurately. Key words were "looking at today". Trung is in VR today.

Julius Jones and Canidate are very similar in running style. JJ has started more but TC has demonstrated better pass catching ability.

Neither is a banger but would be a good change of pace back with MB, both have had spectacular but inconsistant periods of starting and neither is a goalline runner.

JJ is due for a 4 yr 20 million contract type contract when his freeagency begins next yr.

Julius = Marshawn Lynch

Except Lynch is durable and doesnt break down and is a great pass catcher. Oh and he actually breaks tackles. I guess when youre talking about speed and juking you have a point.

Why would I trade up to 15, if it's gonna get me lynched??

Of course if would be predicated on trading Jones but if we got a 4th for Jones and then traded our 3rd and first to move to 15 noone would be Lynched.

jerry was'nt talking about any particular player. he was talking about a scenario where a guy is coming out of his rookie contract and the price goes up considerably where the rookie is cheap for a few years.

i am thinking of 2 players i have it narrowed it down to;
first colombo, then looked at doug free recently and he is like a 3-5th rounder

next j jones, but trade up for ad or lynch;

personally i think the player they might want to trade up for is tedd ginn jr, whom can play wr and also return punts and kickoffs and has true speed to rival that of glenn and to.

i would say if jerry jones trades up its one of these guys, first adrian peterson, next lynch, then tedd ginn jr. Revis fits in there too, but not sure if his speed is fast enough as a game breaker, Jerry Jones did say that there are hardly any pure pass rushers this year, so that leaves it to rb or wr

I am 100% sure it was Marc Colombo

Then you are 100% wrong. JJ said "over the next 4 years". Colombo is only signed for 2 years and won't cost nearly as much as JJ indicated.
