I could have made this a better organization and team than it was 3 years ago. How hard to you think it is to improve on the Campo regime....seriously? How many of the 32 coaches in the NFL this past year couldn't improve on Campo?

Especially if those coaches get 1st round picks, get as much control as Bill does, not completely hampered by aging Hall of Fameers who still have way too much say so, and not handicaped by poor Salary Cap management. The 2 coaches prior to Parcells had to deal with all of that.

Under those circumstances, I dont know if Landry himself would have been successful, but Landry wouldnt have put up with that garbage anyway.

I'm willing to bet if he goes out and wins it all next year you'll learn to live with him and his quirks :D

Tell ya what HH...if he "wins" next year, like the Giants "won" when they went to the super bowl vs the Ravens, no, I won't be happy.

If he rebuilds for real...foundationally...and we don't get to the super bowl before he leaves, I'll be just fine with that.

But I hear ya....ya know, coaches have styles that make it imperative to win...Coughlin is the perfect example....his garbage would get old real soon if his team wasn't winning...

For me, it's the same with Bill...the arrogance, the grumpiness, etc grates that much more when we don't win.

Do we actually know how much Jerry is worth? I would like to know. I always get worried that we will return to total free agency and that bill gates will buy the Commanders
or 49ers and buy up all the probowl players and coaches in one off season because no one could compete with him. lol Even though I don't like the lack of loyalty and player movement that the salary cap has produced and that the league hasn't made the necessary adjustmensts to fix.

Oh okay, so it was because of his GM skills right....

Im on the guys bandwagon, but if we dont get into the Playoffs next year, I think the stuff could hit the fan.

But im sure next year if we dont make it, it will be all about...next year...1 year away...Big Bill is on the right track....we sucked before he got here...woooe is me....

Book it!!!

If we miss the playoffs next year due to injury at QB or other key positions I'll be OK with BP again provided we have found another 3 or 4 starters.

And if you don't think the GM stuff is key then its hard to imagine you having been here for the past 10 years, lol.

Who exactly signs a contract extension without getting a raise?

Its funny that Jets fan and Lions fans were all excited about the mere possibility of landing Bill yet here where we have him the fan base is full of guys complaining.

BP made plenty if mustakes here but that doesn't mean he wasn't the best person to lead this team next season and possibly the year after. Jerry decided he was and gave him 750k more next year to show his commitment with a 2nd season at 6 million which seems now the going rate for top notch coaches/GMs.

Greg Williams making 2.67 mil per season to be a DC in Wash ups the cost of doing business. Most Coordinators make 600k to 1.1 mil.

The Lions and Jets are like most Cowboys fans 3 years ago.
