I was all set to do a recap of the Jerry Jones Show on The Ticket. It was postponed from 8:30 to 8:50, then he reportedly was on hold and hung up...

They just reported that Jerry has said he now can't do the show today...

Perhaps something is up?

Maybe Bill was offered the GM job by the Giants.

Maybe Jerry forgot he had his annual offseason face lift consultation.

I've heard from a very good source close to the Cowboys that Jerry DEFINITELY has a plan in place and that Jerry's public statements about wanting Parcells back are just for public spin. He said Bill is done!! He didn't say what the plan was but that Bill is definitely gone.

Take it for what it's worth, but I'm not blowing smoke. Combine what I heard from this guy with the Peter King blurb, and I fully believe Parcells is history in Dallas!

I remember after the 2001 National Championship game where Oklahoma won, my wife and I were staying at the team hotel in Miami, and we were waiting outside the hotel to catch a cab to the airport.

We met this guy who was also waiting and we agreed to split a cab with him.

It turned out the guy was Bob Stoops' agent, and we had a great conversation on the way to the airport. The funny thing was that on the way, he took no less than 3 calls from Oklahoma officials, as well as other suitors who were all interested in Stoops' future.

My point is, Urban Meyer today is in the exact position Stoops was then. His agent is definitely getting mulitiple calls TODAY for his services, and is probably negotiating a contract extension with Florida to boot!
