Haven't seen this posted anywhere but apparently that interception to Tanner was actually going to Beasley. Tanner ran the wrong route and led his man into the passing lane resulting in the INT. He was supposed to run out into the flat.
When I first watched it I just thought it was a horrendous throw to Tanner honestly. But upon rewatching it again from the highlights it is pretty apparent. Beasley indeed had a step on his man right behind Tanner. The play could have gone for 10-15 yards to Beasley easily.
I'm not trying to say Romo has no blame in the INT. Players are going to run wrong routes at times and the quarterback still has to be aware of what happens on the field. But I have noticed in general he is making pretty good decisions with the football. I think it bodes well for us especially if Kiffin somehow manages to make something out of this defense.
