I’m not going to “drop it”. He was a fourth rounder for a reason.give the 4th round rubbish a rest
He’s paid like an elite QB so those excuses are finished
We his guy needs all pros at every position, it’s not going to happen
https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-final-2021-offensive-line-rankingsHow many of Troy Aikman’s OL sucked during the 92-95 run? Must’ve been nice to have a HOF RB and HOF WR to depend on, too.
I know Aikman is a far superior QB, but even he had a lot of elite talent on O and D to help him win 3 rings, not to mention a HOF coach who knew how to build and discipline a team.
Martin is the only consistent top-rated OL we have. Tyron missed tons of games, Lael is decent but definitely not an elite player like Martin. The rest have been terrible.

Who the heck actually wants Connor Williams and Tyler Biadasz to remain our starting interior OL?
Smith is running on fumes at this point, we’ll need a permanent replacement for him soon. Hopefully that Ball guy or whoever can develop.

Coaching and Dak is why they lost in the playoffs.I don’t care what the numbers say, I care what happens on the field. Weren’t we like a Top 3 yardage/scoring offense this season? How did that work out in the playoffs?
Fact is, our LG/C duo was a weakness for the majority of the season, not to mention the false starts and holding calls committed by the whole line.
Coaching and Dak played a part, sure. But the OL did us no favors. Not to mention an injured Zeke who we forced (forced himself?) to play.Coaching and Dak is why they lost in the playoffs.

I wish the Cowboys had GoffWhy did the Rams ditch their highly drafted, highly paid and NFC Championship winning QB for Stafford if "everyone is capable"?
Why?other real quaterback? Jimmy g played in a Superbowl and was one game away from reaching it again,he ain't better than dak
ExactlyThis is what you wrote.
So it is your position that the Rams gave up two first round draft picks, a third round pick and Goff to get Stafford even though "everyone is capable with a stacked team"?
That doesn't seem reasonable.
Romo works for a company that will pay him to go and talk for 3 hrs . . . Romo and Da k are not the sameRomo and him have more in common. They both need to buy tickets to reach a SB.
Romo can read a defense & process the field quickly.Romo works for a company that will pay him to go and talk for 3 hrs . . . Romo and Da k are not the same
Montana didn't? Steve Young? Farvre in GB? Back in the 80's 90's , you could stack talent b/c it was harder for players to move around the league. There was no cap. No free agency in the form we see today. The only way to build a team was through the draft and coach them up. Sure Aikman's teams had a lot of talent, but so did the other good teams of that era. The talent in the NFL is spread so thin today, I doubt any of the post 2000 super bowl champs could have lined up against the better teams of the 80's or 90's and won.
