Everyone is “capable” with a stacked team. That’s the point.

Stafford couldn’t win a single playoff game on a lacking roster. He only reached the playoffs 3 times in those 12 years.

Dak dealt with a complete garbage starting RB and the most penalized team in the league this year.

Jimmy Garoppolo got to a Super Bowl and almost won it. Let’s pretend Dak couldn’t win big with the 49ers roster.
Why did the Rams ditch their highly drafted, highly paid and NFC Championship winning QB for Stafford if "everyone is capable"?

Wait, so Jared Goff’s incapable of doing something he already did now?

Or did he magically become a MUCH worse player the second he landed in Detroit?

You’re SO confused by football.

I love how you don’t even see how you made my argument for me.

Stafford beat Brady, Burrow beat Mahomes and Jimmy G beat Rodgers THIS POSTSEASON ALONE....... and that taught you NOTHING about this sport.

This is true. Dak is no where near as mobile as Burrow. Thats how they were able to overcome a terrible o'line
LOLLLLLLL

Burrow was the most sacked QB in the league this year.

Do NOT hurt yourself trying to understand this sport.

Yeah, you totally expected Matthew Stafford to play in a Super Bowl a year ago, before he got traded to the Rams.

Don’t hurt yourself trying to understand this sport.
Are you saying that the Cowboys are on the same level as the Lions?

Yeah, put words in my mouth because your argument is trash on its own.
I asked you a question. I didn't put any words in your mouth, but if you want to jump on the defensive that's fine.

Your question was based on an implication that never existed.

No, the Cowboys aren’t as sorry as the Lions. That’s why Dak’s career in Dallas absolutely destroys Stafford’s career in Detroit.

Happy now?

But you said that no one expected Stafford to get to a SB until he was traded. Does that mean that Dak needs to be traded to a real contender to get to a SB?

Dak, like Stafford, will not reach a SB unless he has a great supporting cast... because that’s what it takes for any QB to reach a Super Bowl, even all-time greats like Brady, Mahomes and Rodgers (who all lost vs inferior QBs this postseason).

The Cowboys are close. We’re a playoff-level team, but the terrible run game and penalties galore isn’t the stuff of championship teams. Clean those areas up and we might have something in 2022.

Pretty much spot on. It can happen with any halfway decent QB. You just have to put the talent around him. Not to belabor the point, but did anyone think the Packers were going to beat the 49ers back in the NFC Championship game of 2019? I didn't. And it wasn't because I thought Garoppolo was all that. His team was far better. I think he threw like 8 passes all game for under 100 yards.

The true threats now are Cinci and the LA Chargers going forward. I think the Bills have another year with Allen on the rookie deal. Those teams can stack talent while they're not paying their QB yet.

he's no different than any of the jones boys. he's trying to be relevant while other real quarterbacks are playing in the Superbowl.
he needs to be home throwing passes on his half field, maybe next season he can see at least half the field.

This is what you wrote.
Everyone is “capable” with a stacked team. That’s the point.

So it is your position that the Rams gave up two first round draft picks, a third round pick and Goff to get Stafford even though "everyone is capable with a stacked team"?

That doesn't seem reasonable.

And it’s your position that “everyone is capable with a stacked team” means that every single QB is therefore equal?

Weird. Let me hold your hand through this...

The better your QB is, the better your chances. But if the team isn’t stacked, even the best QBs can’t win big. The goal is to have a stacked team AND the best QB you can get your hands on.

You must be so very confused by Stafford’s success this postseason. He was “capable” in Detroit too, but he didn’t win a single playoff game over 12 years there.

That should’ve taught you something, but it didn’t.
