Have you ever heard the saying, "Any fool can have a kid, but it takes a real man/woman to raise one"? A lot of fools have kids. Fortunately, we have a system set up so that those kids aren't doomed to their biology.

Point is: Humankind will not evolve because people will have babies. Humankind will evolve because some people will raise extraordinary babies.
