I only keep Txt messaging open, everything else I keep closed when not using. I do also send/receive upwards of 12,000 txts a month and double my phone as an iPod, but still charging it 2 times minimum a day, 3 times some days is ridiculous.

Turn the brightness down then. That insane that you're using that much battery.

Have it on next to nothing, I thought I got a bugged phone so went to the store but they said nop im just what they call a "heavy user" the guy said, he pointed out in the first month I used over 5.5gb of data and had upwards of 13,000 txts that month... funny though he also pointed out I used less than 150 non verizon to verizon minutes lol. He said for smartphones only really Blackberrys have superior batteries to the iPhone.

I know all about this. I rooted my OG D1, was running Bugless Beast GP14 w/ a 1 GHz Chevy kernal.

my blackberry would last for daaaaaays, but then again all it was used for was texting, bbm, and internet but it wasn't the "full" internet it was the crappy "wap" and mobile sites

That's 433 text per day or 18 texts per hour, EVERY SINGLE HOUR for a month.

18 texts a minute? My god lol and I thought I texted a lot...

I decided to wait on the Bionic to come out, the battery for the T-Bolt is just ridiculous and the iPhone 5 is supposed to be out in 4 months so if I don't like the Bionic I'll wait for the 5.

Any big difference between the HTC sense UI and the droid one? The seem similar but I haven't actually used the droid interface.

The battery on my iphone 4 is crap as well. I have to charge it nearly every day. My old iphone 3G i could go for 5 days without charging.
