I didn't make myself clear. Animals shouldn't be abused, but I sure don't treat them like humans. I have always had livestock of some sort. I understand at the end of the day that they are food or money if I sell them. The dog that stays at my house is well taken care of, but at the end of the day, it serves a as a watchdog. I also hunt and fish quite a bit. Humans have gone too far in many cases such as the one that this thread was started about. Our society is more concerned with animal abuse than child abuse. That trend is something that concerns me.

Please, that is so far from the truth it is pitiful.

That's Hyperbole.

It's not even close to being the truth.

I wonder how outraged she is about the animals who lost their homes when a construction crew tore down the trees so that she could live in a house or apartment. Probably never considers that lol

Snails don't hurt me either, but if I feel like talking about them, I will.

Mmmm...Delicious with a little drawn butter, lemon, garlic and parsley!

I'll even save the shells so the crazy PETA people make a shrine to THAT!

Probably a wise thing then.

From Ask.com:
The allergenic protein in shellfish (tropomyosin) is not only found in sea creatures. People with shellfish allergies may also have reactions to land snails, dust mites, cockroaches, or other insects.

Sooo, it sounds like you better break that blanket sucking and pillow biting habit ASAP! :p: ;)

This would turn political if I used a few of the examples that come to mind. I was ignorant to the situation myself until some recent events in my life showed me the light. That statement wasn't aimed at prople in general. It is aimed at the media and the judicial system that enforces the law.
