Teams with more going on can take more risks. This team needs players that it can count on week in and week out. I'm guilty of pushing for Randy Gregory in the 2nd round, and though he may still end up a stand out player, that was a mistake regardless of how it plays out.

I'll be happy to be wrong if and when another team offers anything for David Irving. I'd love for this to be someone else's headache at this point.

Admittedly, I was! I was worried that they'd lose him with just the second round tender. But of course that was before all of these more recent episodes. At this point, the guy is his own reality show.

It was probably a long shot before he missed practice since he missed all of camp. Hopefully, he'll be back next week because I do not look forward to him being off the roster.

I think it's inevitable that he will be, but it's such a waste of ability that we need.
