Shhh, I'm trying to convince PT that it never happened.
Just remind him of 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 and every other year in the Super Bowl era that Philly failed to win a championship.

The way we've been playing for the last 4 games, I'm now convinced - there is something deeply wrong with this team's psyche.

It seems like our players can't seem to motivate and play inspired football against our rivals. We look poorly prepared, unmotivated, unable to properly adjust our gameplan...

The only way we'd win the 3rd game in Philly is if we somehow miraculously learned to pass rush and adjust our defense to cover the fullback...that and we get back to a more balanced offense.

One must cling to straws when even the cyclical nature of football has not yielded Philly a championship while her hated rivals have basked in Super Bowl glory a fist-ful of times. (this thing won't let you type fist and ful as one word)

Chicago and New Orleans seems almost inevitable, Bizarro world.
unless your dredging up ancient history from the early nineties it would be just as strange for us to make it.
Our history is worth nothing more than dinner conversation in the offseason now. We havent won a playoff game in so long that i'm not sure if anyone left on this team has gone to a playoff game as a cowboy. We are more of a losing franchise than chicago or new orleans until we prove otherwise in THIS CENTURY.

yeesh. yea dude i guess jj can not worry about the fact that weve been crap compared for what will soon be pushing a decade because of all those wins 15 years ago.

No friend, i was asserting that one franchise has a proud history and the troll does not have such claims to make.

Most of the NFC East has a proud heritage in Super Bowls.

Cowboys 5 Super Bowl wins
Commanders 3 Super Bowl wins
Giants 2 Super Bowl wins

There is only one team that brings the division down.

Although i do think that we wont be america's team (if we still are) for very much longer if we fail to win a playoff game this year.

Um, considering that New Orleans was a piece of manure before Payton arrived I would venture to call it surprising that a team who's history is only rivaled in terms of obscurity by the perennially inept Cardinals and the 5 year old Texans has secured a first round bye.

There are several from 2003 left, but of course no one left from the last win in 1996. Larry Allen is the only Cowboy from that game still playing in the NFL.

true but theyve still been more compelling than us in this millenium..
In my opinion the saints wouldnt be "the seasons biggest surprise" if not for the hurricane down there. Before their 3-13 season with no home games they were consistently around .500. A .500 team going 10-6, or 11-5 isnt all that shocking. Look up the saints records' since 2000 or so.

Yep and that was with A. Brooks who is the real reason they have been so up and down. They would of made the playoffs 2 years ago if it wasnt for a missed chip shot.
