Is Andy Reid about done?

That's a pretty funny quip. I would like to respond in kind, instead, allow me to commend your coach of his ability to maintain his svelte appearance.
"Svelte"? Phillips is fat. People have told him for years, "WADE! Stop eating Andy Reid's scraps! They're fatting!" But does he ever listen? noooooo...

Prediction.

Pheonix-talon corrects your grammar. "fatting" is the word he'll attack. Let's sit back and watch the fireworks.

Don't quote this post, idiots. foiled. I suck.

Speaking about eating, I hope I eat crow about Andy Reid using a lame duck technique until the Eagles feel comfortable enough to allow him to fly off into the sunset.

Prediction ...
Some people will never win the lottery.

Clever quip. Let me respond with something totally off topic.

Amazing how someone interested in 'debate' never seems to actually engage in any........

"Fly off?"

"Into the sunset?"

Andy Reid couldn't fly into the sunset if someone invented an anti-gravity machine, slapped it on his back, and flicked the on switch.

"...allow him to fly off into the sunset."

It takes a lot of jet fuel to lift a jet off the ground. Did you know that the airline industry has detailed records of the amount of jet fuel spiking whenever Andy Reid flies? Coincidence? I think not!

I hope not ...but time will tell. BTW, "flying" was intended as a metaphor for leaving the Eagles ...

Speaking of metaphors...

What exactly about Coleman, Glenn, Henry, Ayodele, Singleton, Fujita, Boiman, Ferguson, Coleman, Fabini, Colombo, Kosier, Glenn, Johnson, Morgan, Anderson, George, Testeverde, Bledsoe, and the cutting of Carter doesn't sceam Parcells?

And if Parcells didn't think Owens would work in Dallas, he would have told Jerry so. What is more likely, is that Parcells said "I can make this work." And he did.

You have YET to prove Parcells did not want Owens here or that Parcells was not in control.

That's a metaphor better applied to those who aren't as aeronautically challenged as Reid.

What about float off into the horizon?

That could work, but someone should warn the seagulls. Those birds love to gorge themselves by landing on barges and such.

:D

Let's recap ...

Air Transportaion - No; Jet Fuel problem

Floation - Possible; seagull hazards

...Ground Transportation?

That's the best option, but he should avoid the carpool lanes. People tend to have fits of road rage seeing a guy driving in a car all by himself. Sure, they SHOULD show sympathy for the poor man barely squeezing himself into an Escalade, but you know how cruel people can be sometimes. :(

Oh, sure! You think it's funny, but do you think the seagulls find it funny after landing on the deck of the S.S. Reid? Well, do ya???

I thought this was universally accepted?

Parcells confirmed that signing Owens last year "was not my decision. I had to do the best I could with him, which is what I tried to do."

You're gonna need to put "Oversize Load" signs on the front and back of whatever vehicle you use there. And some red flags for where he hangs outside of the car. And maybe a convoy of those trucks with the flashing lights warning oncoming traffic.

Does FedEx make a truck big enough? Doubtful. Think we're gonna have to use the space shuttle boys.
