Is anyone really pissed at today's loss?

at 1st I was, but about 10 minutes after the game, I was, and still am, pretty "meh" about it

idk, the game never felt right to me, it's one thing to be in an opportunity to win a ball game, but nothing was going our way, esp. on O

I was hoping that at some point we would even out the score, but I never had a thought that we could overcome it

I guess the whole game prepared me for the letdown that it ultimately was, and I'm not mad anymore, it was just one of those games IMO

btw, I caught myself laughing at some of our miscues, I usually never do that, although don't get me wrong, I got royally pissed at some points too

Yeah, I'm pissed. I once again allowed myself to believe in this team and get pumped only for them to pull this crap yet again. Its one thing to play tough and get beat, but that isn't what Dallas does. No, they like to beat themselves, and that is what pisses me off more than anything else.

I am.

If there's one thing that this team has shown a tendency to do is to not handle prosperity well.

The chatter all week was whether they were the best team in the NFC East, and whether they had finally proven themselves. For the first time in a while, there was more praise then jeers for the team. And, against a team asking to be beaten, they laid an egg.

The Cowboys were outphysicalled, out hit, out coached and ultimately, outlasted. They got banged up pretty good today entering a stretch of 2 games in 11 days, and kept the Eagles and Giants in good position in the division by losing today.

In a way, it's a good thing that they play the Commanders next week so the rivalry aspect can help to get them ready to play.

At first I was but really nothing went our way today so I kind of went meh also. Just about everything possible went wrong. Those days will happen. It will make us more focused for next week vs the Redskirts.

No not really and this board itself seems to be much calmer than after NYG and Denver imo.

Not really, I never got excited about this group to begin with.
Serious question for you...what team are you a fan of?

Here's my problem with this rationale. There's basically a mindset that if this team ever loses again, it's "here we go again."

I do think the Cowboys have some inherent flaws that could prevent them from competing for a Super Bowl. The offense is returning to its old finesse form, unable to consistently run the ball during the game. There are a bevvy of penalties or turnovers, and sometimes both.

But I didn't think the team folded today. They were simply outplayed. It happens.

If Dallas can rally like it did after the Denver loss, I am fine with it.

Never like losing, but what really bothers me about this loss, is they beat themselves, with penalties, mistakes, and poor execution. I would much rather lose to a superior team then see them shoot themselves in the foot time after time. Were talking about losing to a team that had 38 hung on them by TB a week ago. Come on.

Vince Lombardi once said, "show me a good loser and I'll show you a loser."

Yeah, I'm pissed, but I refuse to be an over reacting whiny baby about losses.

Not to be a *****, but I'd love to see a list of the games in which the Cowboys -- or any team, really -- have lost and looked good in doing so. Since the advent of Internet message boards, I certainly have never seen a Cowboys loss in which the fans agreed they played well.

I am very disappointed with the effort but in regards to the standing I am not. I was expecting we would only win against Philly and GB on the road back to back weeks.

How about not playing like wimps and idiots? Its possible to play tough and lose. That isn't what we have today.
