Is anyone really pissed at today's loss?

Nah, me being pissed about Cowboy game loses are behind me. At least until we clean out the coaching staff. Until then I will fully expect let down games like this. We have enough talent to bounce back and have another solid run, until we get too full of ourselves again...

Thats sums up the way I feel, I basically expected this to happen last week.

Yawn.

Question the fandom of everyone sick and tired of these players and coaches collective bull****.
Be sick and tired of anything you want, I could give a crap less about that.
If you're a Cowboys fan, say so. I wasn't implying otherwise, I simply asked what team you are a fan of. I thought you may be a fan of some other team, but wasn't sure...Nevermind.

No not really and this board itself seems to be much calmer than after NYG and Denver imo.

Well, NYG and Bronc game was winnable and seemed like Cowboys gave it away. This game, wasn't a give away. Offense just laid a complete Egg today, especially Roy Williams miscues. OL played bad overall. D played decent, only Decent because, they gave too many 3rd and Long conversions, which caused D to stay on the field too long too.

It didn't pretty much douse my ethusiam for this team for this season. I.e. I kind of started dreaming about SB possibility. But it clearly shows, this team will be lucky if it just wins a playoff or two, well, if it gets there that is.

Especially with loss of OL now and injuries scenario not looking as good as it was last week. Felix just looks plain bad now. He should be on the bench for maybe a week or two. Nothing like the guy we saw at the begining of the year.

Nope.

I'm not underestimating Green Bay. This actually looks like one of our tougher games so far this season, maybe the toughest. They kind of remind me of us. Have quotable stats, but errors/problems that lose them games. If they play up to their stats, the game will probably be tougher than the Philly game. So I'm not going to be let down as much if it's not a blowout in our favor or a close loss.

For example, they're top 10 in yards per play on both offense and defense:

#6 offense
#6 defense

The only other teams that are top 10 in both are Pittsburgh, New England, Indianapolis, and Philadelphia.

Upon ending I was more frustrated more than anything else. Everything felt out of synch today including myself. My local broadcast area had the game on the NFL maps 506 listed all week and then today they changed it to the Philly Chargers game. I was pissed and that really messed up my plans for the day.

Ultimately a game we probably could have won with better execution in all areas.

I think this game was a give away. We had injuries, sacks, fumbles, and penalties, and our Defense kept us in the game. Hand it to GB's D, but we made too many mistakes. Same as the other 2 games we lost.

The biggest thing about this loss is Columbo, not because we lost, because I don't see it being much different from the NYG and DEN losses, the ball just didn't bounce our way, and penalties killing drives or giving GB extra chances.

I definitely thought we COULD lose this game, but I didn't think we WOULD. I was worried about the team being flat after the win last week and we were. We certainly didin't come close to matching Green Bay's intensity. That was obvious. Our defense played well, basically giving up only 10 points. However, once again we failed to force any turnovers and I thought Green Bay would be ripe for some turnovers today. Offensively, well what can you say. We didn't show up. We got hosed on some calls, but we still didn't show up. The playcalling was atrocious. 11 total running plays. Not going to win that way. Very poor game from Garrett. Anyone that doesn't see that just isn't looking very hard.

I'm not pissed about it. You got to tip your hat to the pack. They came out, their backs against the wall, at home and took care of business.

What does tick me off is the sloppiness. Dropped passes. Turnovers, and The penalties are once again going to end our season. Its just a matte of "when".

Yes, I'm mad... NO, actually, I take it back... I'm P*****!!! off about losing, and always am after a loss. Then, to make matters worse, the Packer fans living across the street were firing off fireworks during the 4th quarter, and after the game, as if it were the 4th of July.

I just hope that Columbo, Jenkins, and Hamlin have speedy recoveries, and I hope we beat the you know what out of the Deadskins next week. :D

How about not playing like wimps and idiots? Its possible to play tough and lose. That isn't what we have today.

Sorry, not buying it.

Teams lose for a reason. They typically either show an inability to do something and lose because of it; have a single crushing moment that spoils the game; or endure a series of mistakes that pile up. A team's "toughness" exhibited in a loss is inherently undone by any of those things.

For example: If the Cowboys played smart, tough football, but lost on the final play, fans would be screaming they have no heart for giving up the clinching drive. Play smart, disciplined football but still fall short, and fans would be screaming like they did during the Parcells years that "we're playing not to lose."

Again, find me a loss you were happy with. It's almost impossible for anyone, I bet.

Yeah, I'm not overly upset. Never fun to watch your team lose like that, but as long as we take care of business against our next two opponents, I'll be okay.

The fact that the Eagles also lost made this one easier, we're still in sole possession of first place. As is the case with all three losses this year, the Cowboys beat themselves with bad turnovers, dropped passes, etc.

I'm over this loss, but the injuries sting. If we blow the game against the Commanders in Dallas next week, that string will last longer...

I'm pissed but everything went wrong that game. That Jenkins hands to the face penalty was comical and changed the outcome of the game. The two fumbles bounced thier way. The punt return fumble was so close and his knee hit .03 seconds before the ball came out.

Back to back tough road games are difficult. Especially when that home team is desperate and thier season is hanging by a thread. That Eagles win gave me a ton of confidence. They'll bounce back.

If we lose at home to the Foreskins next week, this team will implode. That's just not a game a playoff team will lose. Nor the following week against the Raiders. No way we can lose either of those games. No way.

I agree with that. A loss next week will wrap the season up.

at 1st I was, but about 10 minutes after the game, I was, and still am, pretty "meh" about it

idk, the game never felt right to me, it's one thing to be in an opportunity to win a ball game, but nothing was going our way, esp. on O

I was hoping that at some point we would even out the score, but I never had a thought that we could overcome it

I guess the whole game prepared me for the letdown that it ultimately was, and I'm not mad anymore, it was just one of those games IMO

btw, I caught myself laughing at some of our miscues, I usually never do that, although don't get me wrong, I got royally pissed at some points too

This post pretty much explains how I feel.

As long as we take care of business @ home the next 2 weeks than this will be an easy one to get over.

But if we lose 1 of these next 2 than this loss will upset me much more.

I don't think so. We can still run the table after that. Seriously, I remember the season where the Commanders HAD to win 5 in a row to get into the playoffs...and they did...so, if they can do it, we can. until it is mathematically impossible for us to be in the playoffs, I think we can make it.

According to the foreskins fans over at ES, they think now that they're going to go 10-6 on the season and make the playoffs. They also should now re-sign Camplbell and give little danny a pat on the back for bringing in Sherm Lewis from the bingo hall. They really are comical.
I guess their boycott of snyder is out of the question now.
