Is anyone really pissed at today's loss?

This post pretty much explains how I feel.

As long as we take care of business @ home the next 2 weeks than this will be an easy one to get over.

But if we lose 1 of these next 2 than this loss will upset me much more.

Yep. This loss makes it imperative that we take care of business the next two weeks. If we do that, we are sitting good at 8-3. If not, we are setting ourselves up for another season of disappointment. I'm not going to hit the panic button yet though.

Vince Lombardi once said, "show me a good loser and I'll show you a loser."

Yeah, I'm pissed, but I refuse to be an over reacting whiny baby about losses.

More condecension and intellectual dishonesty

Just because you refuse to acknowledge the obvious truth, for whatever reason, does not mean that those of us who do are "over-reacting" or "whiny babies"

According to the foreskins fans over at ES, they think now that they're going to go 10-6 on the season and make the playoffs. They also should now re-sign Camplbell and give little danny a pat on the back for bringing in Sherm Lewis from the bingo hall. They really are comical.
I guess their boycott of snyder is out of the question now.

Been reading TR1 and Bubba's post, have you? Those two little guys are a riot. However, you should go ahead and shower your eyes and brain so you won't catch a terminal case of the dumb*** after reading their crap.

Honestly, I didn't pay attention to who the posters were, only at the content. It was a real hoot, though. Very entertaining.
Headed to the shower shortly ; )

at 1st I was, but about 10 minutes after the game, I was, and still am, pretty "meh" about it

idk, the game never felt right to me, it's one thing to be in an opportunity to win a ball game, but nothing was going our way, esp. on O

I was hoping that at some point we would even out the score, but I never had a thought that we could overcome it

I guess the whole game prepared me for the letdown that it ultimately was, and I'm not mad anymore, it was just one of those games IMO

btw, I caught myself laughing at some of our miscues, I usually never do that, although don't get me wrong, I got royally pissed at some points too

I'm more upset with the injuries than the loss. And the way they played, and the play calls. It was like watching the 1st pre-season game.

I always get the feeling that we are being outcoached.

Even when we win it seems the victory comes from the athleticism and sheer talent displayed by some individuals on the team.

That was a Green Bay team waiting to be beaten, just waiting.. very disappointing.

I HATE, absolutely hate, the fact that we overuse that damn draw. Our line is huge and they should be pushing forward and wearing out defences, not faking pass, rocking back on their heels and then trying to run block.. what the heck!!

Shotgun first snap of the game??

Oh well, better days i hope.

I got pissed off quite a few times during the game. But this game wasn't a season breaker as so many are making it out to be.

No, it's not a season breaker. It is, however, another symptom of why this team has repeatedly underachieved. It can't live with prosperity. Gritty performance and big win last week, followed by whatI unfortunately expected: flat performance. The really good teams don't do that. Some on here are saying the Pack was a desperate team and had more to play for. Bull!!!!! We could've taken a two game lead over Philly and the Giants. Did the Pack play harder? Smarter? With more intensity? If so, we were not a well-prepared team. But then, that wasn't hard to tell. And yes, they did play with a lot more intensity. That's why I'm pissed. No excuse for it. This team rests on its accomplishments far too often. I thought it might be over that type of thinking, but tonight's performance has to make me reconsider. Again, I'm not so ticked off about the loss, but our lack of intensity and the manner in which we got manhandled up front on offense. Don't get me started on the playcalling and the lack of running plays. That's a whole additional thread.

Not as mad as I thought I would be. We just had to many mistakes(dropped passes, fumbles, penalties, etc.).

I'm always disappointed after a loss, but it didn't surprise me. Green Bay is a good team and there was little chance we weren't going to lose this one or against the Skins/Raiders.

I just hope they can get back on a winning streak because we REALLY need to be 8-3 heading into the Meadowlands.

I'm really disappointed with how inconsistent our offense is and I put the loss on them. They had a chance to jump on GB early and they did nothing.

I'm really worried about the Skins game now that Columbo is out, Jenkins is hurt and perhaps Hamlin is out. The Skins have a good D and I am really fearful that Tony is going to have a fiasco performance because they can stop the run and pressure the QB.

I won't be surprised at all if the Skins beat us.

Yeah, I'm pissed. I hate losing and I hate losing to the Pack.

Really ticked off at a few players not showing up.

But, I try to keep some perspective here. We were in the game for 3 1/2 quarters. The guys didn't give up in the end. Free played pretty well. Roy did make some plays, just made two huge gaffes. Hopefully they learn from this, hopefully this is a wakeup call. We'll see.

The Cowboys need to get Felix Jones going. He needs to be the biggest nail in the Commanders' coffin next week.

Yea, I'm pretty tired of hearing every week how Felix is going to become more involved in the offense. Sort of like Wade saying in the off season that we're going to run the ball more this year. It started out that way, but we've fallen right back into throwing the ball all over the field again. We're just wasting Barber, Choice, and Barber. Why in the hell did we spend all those draft picks on these guys if we're not going to use them.

I find the older I get the less upset I get after a Cowboys loss. Sure I love the team and will root for them for as long as I am on the sunny side of the earth, but it's hard for me to get upset that a bunch of overpaid guys 10-15 years younger than I am lost a kids game. There may be some initial disappointment, but it goes away pretty quickly.
