Is Bledsoe an improvement over Vinny?

I don't think there's much difference. Less interceptions, maybe less fatigue later in the year, but same arms, and Vinny was never looking downfield so much and missing a wide open Witten like Bledsoe did so often this game. I don't know what he'll do with the Jets this year, but if Vinny was in the same shape as last year, somehow I don't think the QB results this year wouldn't be much different with Testaverde starting.

Jeez, one week he is a demi god, the next he needs to be cut

Drew played great today, its not his fault that he got ZERO pass protection today

Bledsoe is much better, but the coaches are game planning like he's Carter. He's a passer, they need to let him throw it downfield.

Drew's rating is 96. Were it not for the hail mary INT and the TD called back, it would still be 103.

If he had a running back that could break 100 yards ONCE in FOUR GAMES he might be leading the NFL in rating.

Amen, coaches need to quit being so damn conservative and predictable.

Is this a joke? With Vinny we are 0-4.

BS. Vinny started out with the same record as Bledsoe and started going downhill quickly when he had to play catchup all day and lost his receivers to injury.

Hahaha, I'm surprised to see that post... but then it's over reaction time so maybe I shouldn't be. Vinny sucked, end of.

Bledsoe almost won the game for us again.. then there would be posts hailing him as the best ever.

This post is really something!

You actually believe Vinny would have led us to two 4th quarter come from behind victories?

I smell BS all right. It ain't what I posted, though.

If you are asking that question, I have to question how much you know about football.

I wonder how much you know. Stats don't mean everything. With that press coverage are receivers were smothered all game, and Witten was open a lot, yet Drew kept looking for Key and Glenn all game long. Testaverde would have had 100 yards with Witten today.

Give me a break, Bledsoe is playing way better than we all had imagined. Stop letting one loss go to your head.

the O-L was horrible today, just to many blow assignments. what has me ticked off and other cowboy fans is they wont let him go deep until the 4th quarter, we need to stop playing not to lose cause if we dont then we do deserve to lose

To go along with his 3 interceptions?

And Vinny didn't? Vinny had to overcome far larger deficits last year. And Bledsoe has failed twice to lead us back, once with the Skins and now with the Raiders. I'm not knocking Bledsoe and saying Testaverde was a far better QB. They're both bus drivers. They both had strong arms. Their both temporary stop gaps. I don't see much improvement with one or the other.

Do you even have to ask that question?

Hell yes he is an improvement over Vinny. If Vinny was in the game, Parcells would have thought he was Superman and had him throwing all over the place and he would have thrown about 4 interceptions.

It is not Bledsoe's fault that whoever was tryiing to establish the run game in the 2nd when it clearly didnt work.

The Raiders secondary has been vunerable all season but we dont start going after them until it is too late.

Some of the offensive play calling was horried.

The 3rd and 1 call where they ran Barber to the outside?

Refusing to stick with Tyson Thompson who had us moving the chains (reminds me of the refusal to go with Lee last year)?

The Fade call in the fourth quarter on 3rd and 4?

The 2 back to back Screen plays where Bledsoe got sacked (I recorded the game gotta go see what they were trying to do the 2nd time)?

What exactly is Bill Parcells' role on this team? Is the guy calling offense, defense? Geez....

Get Real!

I will take Bledsoe all day long, and then some over Vinny.
I have no problem with Drew at all so far. As a matter of fact I am very happy with him.

We lost todays game because we lost the battle at the LOS.
They whipped us on both sides today. They ran it, and we did not. Pretty dang simple.

We also lost the game because Bledsoe locked onto a slow ineffective Key all game long. Witten could have had a career day today.
