Knowing the defensive play calls. Brady is still great though, he still has a very high level of play while ND nation is slowing realizing they hired a fraud.
Soon to be NYJ.

Defence carried them? what superbowls did you watch?

Brady put up 20 points in their first SB win, including the game winning drive with a minute to go.

Second superbowl: the Pats defence gave up 29 points, Brady put up 354 yards and 3 TD passes to win the game.

Third superbowl: Brady goes 236 yards and 2 TD's and wins the game for New England.

Only the defense won those championships? I think not. As for a QB friendly scheme, he has played in different schemes since he started and shined in them all. Please stop.

Is there a peanut where your brain should be?

Did I say that their defense carried them IN the Super Bowls (even though you stated that they put up 20 points in the first Super Bowl victory--not a very good total)?

No. I was talking about their first two Super Bowl champion SEASONS being mainly a result of their defense.

In 2001, their offense put up 371 points and ranked a whopping 19th in the NFL in yards.

In 2003 they put up a whopping 348 points and ranked 17th in yardage.

Hmmm...don't exactly sound like offensive teams to me.

And your statement that Brady has played in different systems is flat-out false. Charlie Weis's scheme is the exact same scheme Josh McDaniels runs.

You have no clue what you're talking about and yet you insist on pretending you do. Absolutely pathetic.

Yes, Weis has proven himself to be an offensive minded genius. What was the QB friendly scheme? Brady buying time in the pocket waiting for a receiver to get open?

Short pass after short pass after short pass. Troy Brown averaging 9 yards per catch on 100 balls or so.

Until Randy Moss arrived, that was their system. Once Moss arrived, they did the same thing, only they added in "2-3 times a game, just throw one up for Moss down the field."

I think these Pats could have been just as well off had Bledsoe come back from that injury and reseated Tom on the bench in that offense. They chose to go with the younger guy who cost them less, though, and no fault in it for them now that the results are out.

And you would be wrong. Bledsoe was not good enough to win Superbowls. He was not accurate enough, took too many sacks and turned the ball over too much. That would have hurt the Pats during those 3 SB years.
