Would it offend anyone if someone said Cole Beasley is the best wr on the team? Nothing against Dez I think he's the most talented guy. But there has to be something said about how Beasley just always seems to be open. The way he runs his routes. And it seems like he's becoming Dak's security blanket. If you hear dak talk about Beasley it sounds like they have a good on field chemistry. Going forward it would not surprise me if Beasley becomes our #1 guy.
So why can't Beasley be our Wes or Edelmen.
He ignores anyone who dares to disagree with him. Eventually he won't be able to see any posts but his own, which I believe is his ultimate goal. Why are you still around?

Beasley is the best at what he does but far from best all around receiver
In the middle of the field his quickness and route running makes an impossible matchup for defenders. But in the red zone and on the outside he is limited.
I meant "our best" lolI would say there might be a guy New England who might disagree with Beasley being the best at what he does.
But I do love some Beasley.
How many YAC yards did Dez get last week? It sure didn't seem like top 5 wr numbers. How many TD's has he dropped now... 2 ... 3? Those are not stats for the best wr on the team. Dez may have at one time been the best and may be again right now it very well might be Beasley, only because he is open and runs in the scheme they ask him to. I don't believe for a second that Beasley could have had those catches that Dez dropped either but then again, neither did Dez. Apples to apples, catch for catch, Beasley has been the best receiver on the two thru these two games.Beasely is a role player, nothing more or less. He is an exceptional role player but that's like saying that Dunbar is the best running back on the team because he is out best pass catcher even though he can't be counted on to do half of the work a normal running back should be able to do.
Can Bease play the outside? Can Bease pose a threat in the red zone? Can he block? Can he go up and get the ball? Can he beat double coverage? Can he make ridiculous sideline catches? Does he post any legitimate downfield threat?
Bease is great at what he does but Dez Bryant is our best receiver by a mile. The success he has had in an offense that doesn't even use him right is incredible. Dez had one season riddled by injuries and now a security blanket is better than him?
What I would love is for the team to invest in a legitimate outside receiver opposite Dez to open things up even more for Bease.
I don't know what games your watching but it isn't like Dez is getting double covered.Dez doesn't have Dez taking the coverage away from him.
Beasley is what he is, a first down machine. Witten, first down machine. Dez, big play receiver. We just need one more guy to step up and make the big plays.
No doubt.Top 3 by end of year.

You know they're the same height right?Maybe with how tall Dak is in the pocket but not with short Romo. He is uncoverable. New word.
Nope. You know they're the same height right?
