They are pretty close. Cooper is faster but he gets dominated by press coverage. Dez at 30 plus a 1st round pick is better than what Cooper will give us.
True, Dez is currently unemployed; which, at least in the case of Balt, was his own decision...and he’s gotta live with it.Currently, Dez isn't employed, so I guess there's that.
Well, we went 3-1. Romo sucked against the Panthers in that one game though. So who sucked those 4 games...Dez or Romo?
Who we could have signed for free?
However, we coulda likely had DB for relatively cheap (low ba$e + incentive$)...and WITHOUT giving up next year’s first-round pick.
The grasping-at-straws trade for Cooper was truly a smh Jerry move. Guess the old boy’s still got it!
Well, Dez dropped a wide open pass on 3rd down in the red zone opening week. Was that Dez or Romo’s fault? If it’s Dez’s fault, would it have been Cassel and Dak’s fault if they threw the ball?Well, we went 3-1. Romo sucked against the Panthers in that one game though.
We disagree/ very solid moveNo, and Dez wouldn't have cost a FIRST. ROUND. PICK.
My god this franchise is a bottomless pit of stupid.

Dez and Romo had a miscommunication against Miami causing an interception in the red zone. Whose fault was that?
Dez dropped a TD pass agianst Carolina when it was still a one possession game. He also argued with Norman instead of preventing a pick 6. Whose fault was that?
Dez sucked with Romo, too.
The drop off in QB play can account for some of Dez’s drop in production but husband play declined individually even with Romo as a QB. Dez’s mistakes increased all by himself and he has admitted he wasn’t right mentally. He still claims he is trying to get right. He was also limited with injuries.
But the Romo loving Dak haters want so badly to just point everything at Dak. At least on the old board you flat out admitted to were going to blame everything on Dak for payback of how Romo was treated, so I at least know your motivation.
Dak sucking doesn’t excuse Dez from sucking. Both can occur and did occur.Ha! You remember that? Yeah, I had some fun taking my jabs at those guys over there last year. Good times. Difference between now and then is I didn't really believe what I was saying last year, I was just getting my pound of flesh. This year, I believe every word of what I write about him.
Dez definitely declined. The worst part is it's hard to say whether it was a cause and effect situation of Dak sucking or if he just sucked on his own. Based on the evidence I've seen since he's been gone...well you know where this is goingDak sucking doesn’t excuse Dez from sucking. Both can occur and did occur.
Yes.Who we could have signed for free?
And the same thing will happen next year at 14million for Cooper. Then will come an even bigger contract.Yea but it would have also cost us 16m per year with a ton guaranteed for a guy who is a #2 WR at best.
Absolutely, and by a large margin.Who we could have signed for free?
Only thing I disagree w/ is who is the better WR at this point in their careers. No and anyone trying to claim he is or that this was a good move is a fool.
This FO has no direction whatsoever. None. They don’t know what they’re doing. They backed themselves into a corner by making a stupid decision during the off-season and now threw away a first round pick for a receiver AGAIN. This is the definition of insanity. The receivers aren’t the problem.
This guy will amount to absolutely nothing. He will put up numbers similar to Dez because Dak just isn’t very good at getting the ball down the field.
Another dumb personnel move by this circus of a FO.
Cutting Dez and chasing Sammy Watkins for 16M per year shows this is an organization ran by guys too insecure to be challenged.
I have to wonder if Dak didn’t have some part in getting Dez cut.
Absolutely, and by a large margin.
