Is Cowboys win and Rams win the best scenario?

Rams are playing hot right now. I can see them beating the Lions and 49ers. That could give us home field advantage through the playoffs.

Cowboys vs Packers
Cowboys vs Bucs
Cowboys vs Rams
Cowboys vs Bills

On the other hand, it would be cool to see a redemption tour. Beat Eagles, 49ers and Bills.
Come on! Do you want to win a Super Bowl? The path of lease resistance is the BEST chance of us winning the Super Bowl!
One year we won the Superbowl by beating up in Green bay in the NFC Championship. We avoided the Whiners because they lost the round before. They would have been a much tougher matchup than GB!

whoever it is, they need to win. If they want to make it to where we all want them too, they will probably have to beat the 49ers in SF, so no need to shy away from teams now.

The best scenario is on the board.

If you believe the Rams will beat Detroit then its not necessarily the ‘best’ scenario. Ideally you would want Philly (if they beat NFC South winner) to have to go to SF in the divisional round.

Detroit, Rams, Eagles ... all of you are tearing me apart!

I think the Rams will beat the Lions - Rams coming into form and more playoff experience.

OK that's good information,

however, you saying the Rams can beat those teams, yet we can't yet? somehow you want to meet the Rams on the other end??

I mean wouldn't that be counterproductive to be wishing to meet a team that can beat those teams on the road and then we have to face them?? I just rather play whoever comes up and not worry about who they might be because I don't want our team to do that, that's for sure. But we can beat Detroit and the 49ers are everyone's Achilles heel, I mean in the playoffs we only lost to them by one score two years in a row and didn't bring anywhere near our best game.

I know they crushed us in the regular season game but saying that's going to happen again in the playoffs you haven't been around long we're paying attention to it's a week-to-week league whatever they did to us ten weeks ago doesn't mean it's going to happen again, literally if you look into the playoff games, we played them tight...

I do get what you're saying but in the grand scheme of things I don't think it really matters we're going to have to meet a good team down the road regardless. Heck, that might even start in game one of the playoffs

I mean some of these teams look like they're on A roll they don't look like chump change to me.. In my opinion no matter who we meet is going to give us a tough game.. They always seem to get up for the Dallas Cowboys..
The idea is that the Rams are the most likely to beat the niners and if that happens, the Cowboys, if they make it that far, would be home for the championship game.

Beating the Niners on the road would be SO much more satisfying than beating the Rams at AT&T (before we beat the Bills).

I get that but we just need to watch the games wishing for things going one way or the other discussing so many hypotheticals and things like that are just out of our control we play who we play wherever we play them pretty much what Mike McCarthy said..... Yes we all wish somehow we got that powder puff schedule that the Eagles got last year in the playoffs they play the giants and then get lucky enough to have a third string quarterback that Christian McCaffrey was playing quarterback some snaps that would be nice but that's typically not how it works in the playoffs you gotta fight all the way to the end....

A Rams win is the best scenario just to have the 49ers go through the path of most resistance. After the Cowboys beat the Packers by 20, they want the winner of the Philly/Tampa game. Otherwise we get Detroit and the 49ers get the winner of the Philly/Tampa game.

It definitely looks better if Tampa wins .

Depends on whether we’d rather see Lions or Egirls .

Assuming the BooBirds get it together they could still be a tough out.

Personally I’d least like to face the Lions . They might have some revenge factor brewing.

But obviously best case scenario is Rams and Tampa winning . Unless of course all of the road teams win including Packers.

But if Lions win I think Egirls might have a better shot of giving SF a game than Tampa.

Kinda of gross to think we might actually be in a position to root for those BooBirds 2 weeks in a row.

Bingo!

The Rams and 49ers are division rivals and familiarity can be an advantage to a lesser team. They split two very close games this season and the Rams are probably the best at matching up to the 49ers.

The Cowboys chances at a Super Bowl increase dramatically if the 49ers are eliminated in the divisional round and NFC championship is played at the AT&T.

All this discussion about not being afraid of any team sounds commendable but it is unrealistic. The "best" team in the regular season wins the Super Bowl only around 50% of the time. I've done he research. Their is always the element of luck whether it's injuries, strength oef schedule, weather, etc

Really don't believe there is ever a best scenario and you just have to win them as they come. Need to beat Packers then probably Lions and then probably 49ers and then if we do then probably Ravens or Bills.
